Bad UX: unvalidated email spam
Somebody scheduled a haircut at SmartStyle in zip code 45891 and they used my email address, but unfortunately it wasn’t me, SmartStyle didn’t validate the email before sending appointment reminders, and I apparently can’t unsubscribe from their “unmonitored” email. So, I’m posting a one-star review here for the app as that has created a terrible user experience. I live in Germany, have never been to SmartStyle in Ohio, and I shave my head and have no hair to style! SmartStyle is apparently not so smart. Developers: you need to validate email addresses before letting people use any email in your app!!! UNSUBSCRIBE!!!

App needs improvement
First, why is there not a way in the app to provide feedback about the app? The only feedback form requires a salon to be selected. No need to blast it out to the masses, but if that is how you want it, here goes:
Why is it not possible to go into the app during closed business hours and schedule an appointment for a future time? Ya, I know the place is closed at 6am, but it opens later, so should be able to provide functionality to schedule. Being able to only schedule during open hours is counter productive and you lose more than half of available time.

Smart Style
I made an appointment for 10:30am. Showed up near 10:20am behind an older couple. The lady takes them first (and of course she’s by herself) since they arrived before me even though I made an appointment and arrived on time. What’s the point of having an appointment if they’re not going to take you on or around the time of your appointment?

What’s the point of check in?
App is useless unless you live more than hour from the salon. Local salon shows 15 minute wait. Earliest I can book is over an hour later…sorry but that’s pointless. I can drive there. Get my hair done and be back home before the first available appointment. Deleted…
