One more app to SPY on you…

What is this World coming to you gotta Download an app for each place you want to get a haircut, or do business at? I have a zillion apps on my phone, I don’t need another one… for each business that i patronize. Yikes!! And, they collect & Sell your data without your Permission. Do they really need my phone number and email address and all that? They are Telling me that they do! This Stuff is Ridiculous

FAQ

What does the Great Clips Online Check-in app do?

The app allows you to view estimated wait times at nearby hair salons and join the waitlist remotely. You can save your place in line and receive text alerts when it's almost your turn to arrive at the salon, helping you save time.

How do I use the Online Check-In feature?

Simply tap the search icon, pick a hair salon, and tap the 'Check In' button. Enter your name and phone number, then tap 'Check In' again to be added to the waitlist. No login or profile is required. You can then watch your estimated wait time countdown.

Is there a cost to use the Online Check-in app?

The app itself is free to use. While the description mentions 'free with in-app purchases', it's important to note that the core functionality of checking in and viewing wait times is available without any direct purchase. Any potential in-app purchases are not detailed in the provided description.

What services can I check in for using the app?

You can use Online Check-In for most services, excluding perms and formal updos. Not all salons offer perms, and many require appointments for these specific services, so it's best to call the salon directly to inquire.

When is Online Check-In available?

Online Check-In is available during the salon's operating hours. It is not available during the first five minutes the salon is open to allow for in-person check-ins. You can check in online up to 30 minutes before closing time.
