Bug Fixes and Enhancements

Critical feature missing

This app would be perfect if it sent push notifications for bus delays and cancellations. Twice now I’ve had to call for car rides because the bus just never shows up and the app doesn’t say anything.

The app sucks. The service is worse.

I would suggest that no one should ever download this app and use it. It is unclear that every person must have their own app downloaded when you purchase tickets. When you do contact NCTD they point you to Pronto and then Pronto points you back to them. The customer experience team at NCTD is a complete joke and should probably get rid of their job titles since they don’t care about customers or the experience.

Barely useable

Most people using the app on a regular basis have worked through the growing pains and figured it out. Most people trying to figure out how to ride public transit in San Diego face the additional hurdle of Pronto.
Pros: can buy day and month passes,
Cons: cannot buy and activate single tickets, does not provide instructions to accurate tickets, cannot use AmEx, can spend more using pay-as-you-go than with passes

Terrible

Says I have an account but won’t send me an email to reset a password I never created since I never even had the app before.
