Amount is Schaune taking out in real time, but then the next day Provident holds back vendors and everything hits in one day I’ve seen anywhere from $5000 taken out in one day to $500 taken out in one day. The application itself is functional, they have only been a few times where I couldn’t get in. Face ID is good when it works.
Profit Bank as a whole, exercises the same practices other banks do and other financial institutions do you’re completely blind, and I would like more control. Like freezing the account every night before I wake up so that the same amount will be available at 6 AM the next day.

App does not have payment confirmation
After making a payment to pay off the monthly loan balance. It will still keep taking your payment until your payment post. It should have a hold feature to stop making more payments more than what you owe.
Can’t enter password
Sometimes when I attempt to enter my password the cursor doesn’t appear. Most of the time I have to tap it 15X or so. Rarely does it appear on the first try. I never had any problem until the most recent update.

I use provident to cash my paycheck, after being grandfathered in from Lakeland. Ready to jump ship to a bigger bank with a better more reliable app. They are lucky I’m lazy.

I have been with Provident Bank for a quite a few years. The company I used to work for used to jump around bank to bank. If you got a paper check and didn’t have an account, they would charge an enormous amount to cash the check even though they were making a lot of money processing paychecks. Finally, my company found Provident Bank and have been with them ever since. I have since retired and moved out of state and still keep my Provident Bank account. After my retirement income is direct deposited I then transfer some of it to a bank in my state. I choose to do this as I don’t live any other bank as much as I love Provident! You go through the drive-through and the 2nd time there they already know your name & your face. I asked them if they were using something to identify you, and they were not! I find this rather amazing! I once got scammed out of $50 with somebody using my granddaughter’s Facebook Page. Within hours, I called them on their 24 hour service, they contacted Venmo and stopped this transaction and hopefully shut down the scammer! I didn’t lose dime! Awesome people! With the Internet & debit card I have access to my money always! Every person in the Flemington branch is personable, and nice & they treat you very well! You also get interest on your account & may also have your ATM fees refunded! Great bank, I just wish Provident Bank was in EVERY State!
