Ich soll ein Update für meine Philips Soundbar durchführen. Angeblich wichtig.
Problem - die App stützt immer ab. Da bekommt man ja Angst, ein Update - falls möglich - anzustoßen….. leider sehr enttäuschend. Die restlichen Funktionen sind somit in der App auch kaum nutzbar.

Just Works
All worked perfectly. Nice and easy just FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! Don’t move away from the app and just let it do its thing. Will say UPG and some numbers on the soundbar which looks to be a percentage. Stays at 99 for a little while then resets. After reading the reviews on here including the highlighted one saying it bricked the soundbar, I was a little nervous, however went ahead with it as it was saying it needed to update and was having problems connecting.

Nutzlose App die nicht funktioniert. Updates und das Finden der Anlage Philips TAB8907/10 gestalten sich als sehr schwierig bzw. stürzt die App einfach ab.

As required for my new soundbar I added this and the Music app so as to update software and firmware… so far so good. Initially it gave me sound control (eq, bass, treble etc), however it now is stuck on Firmware status page. I have deleted app, re downloaded, connected, but all I get is Firmware status confirming my soundbar is up to date, there is no longer ANY sound controls … Any ideas ??

Habe ein Update durch die App ausgeführt.
Jetzt funktioniert nur AirPlay.
Rest nicht also Filmabend kann man vergessen.

Expensive paperweights, speakers are useless as do not work as they should, multiple times to download and update with no success, multiple times to reset speakers and persist in setting them up, very poorly designed and do not work as should
DO NOT USE!!!!
After updating firmware my sound bar now goes to full max volume everytime I turn it on. Avoid at all costs to download this app!!!

Config: Fidelio B97, iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.8.1, Apple Music
…merkt sich die Equalizer-Einstellung (Custom) nicht. Echt blöd, das jedes mal neu einzustellen!
Beim Skippen oder Album-Wechsel bricht immer mal wieder die Verbindung zur Fidelio ab.
Die Fidelio braucht oft sehr lange, um den Befehlen der Musik-App (Lautstärke, Stopp, Skip..) zu folgen.
Manchmal geht dann gar nichts mehr: Da hilft nur noch die AirPlay-Verbindung zu trennen und neu aufzubauen…

AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Due to this useless/pathetic app my Philips soundbar has completely stopped working and lost it’s HDMI and Bluetooth functionalities. This buggy app started a software update on the soundbar and after it had finished the soundbar is now completely useless. Philips technical support is by far the worst and inexperienced department ever encountered. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND PHILIPS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
