Can’t get in
After I lost my Samsung Galaxy, I had to use my iPhone, I can’t even get into my account. I verify my phone number but then nothing happens after that!

PTSB app
It is an app that is easy to use. Support is accessible. I can view my Visa Debit card PIN. I can make transfers securely & safely.

What is going on with theses “upgrades”
The app recently changed to be more “user friendly”. Well this week the app refused to move past the login screen. Not exactly user friendly.
An app is supposed to compliment the customer experience. If all I can see is my balance, then what’s the point?

Worst app ever
This is my first time leaving a review for an app. This is hands down THE worst app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Every time I log in there are issues.
Terrible App
Most definitely the worst banking app on my phone and the least reliable app overall in terms of uptime. It not only frustrates me as a user but also a customer of ptsb. I intend closing all my ptsb accounts in coming months through their ridiculous account closure approach of sending a letter by post.

Not Working
The good app b4, is now very bad app, it will not work.

This has to be the worst app I have ever come across. Always a problem when trying to log in then you call customer service to be on hold for 20 mins.
Junk app
App stops working, online on chrome gives an error, been like this for 2 days. I uninstall the app and install it again to get rid of cache and now can’t login for 24h because I have a new sim (I’m living abroad and used the app with this sim tens of times) Hire someone decent devsss!
Need updating
This app has some sort of functionality issue as I can never access my accounts via the app . I’ve tried at different day and still the same result. The strange thing is if I go to the pc and login with the same details I have no problem accessing my accounts. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling and unfortunately this hasn’t made any difference! PTSB get your act together and fix the issue please

Shocking.
The app has been broken for weeks. I can’t get access to my money and they could not care less. Cannot wait to get my money out of this country.
Does everything I need
I don't know why there's so many negative reviews here. I'm submitting this review in October 2024 and the app is significantly updated so it now does everything that I need a bank app to do
Horrendous app
Never works when you need it to. Going to move to a different bank because of it
Dreadful app. Everyone should be ashamed of themselves.
Still no Touch or FaceID. Terrible scrolling through transactions, the absolute basics of a banking app. This app is a mess. It’s like a trip down memory lane on how apps used to be about 10 years ago and has learnt nothing about how an iOS app should be designed in 2024.
Big improvement!
Having felt that the old app was much in need of a ‘shake up’ I now find the new mobile app a much improved model in terms of visuals, accessibility and navigation. Very happy!
Better, but still bad
No Face ID. All your transactions are held inside a small little container that requires a PhD to work out how to navigate. To see a few more transactions, you have to re-authenticate every time? Screen randomly freezes requiring app force close. You can’t go back to transactions from a couple of years ago. Awful app unfortunately, but not surprised. Will be switching everything over to Revolut. This app could learn a bit from the likes of Monzo, Starling in the UK.

Login atrocious
App says error and will not let me login for days without an app delete and reinstall. PTSB remain unserious about user design, prioritizing security theatre instead.

PTSB screen loads, then app closes. Awful app.
App does not work
The app literally does not work for me or anyone I know, using identical login details which allow me to login online. The level of cheapness and mediocrity is astounding. Permanent TSB are a farce for allowing this app to remain broken. Avoid the app and the bank.
Extremely poor banking app
It’s the glitchiest one on my phone. And you need it to bank on your laptop.
Plus, they’ve now upped their current account charges as of September 23 quite significantly. Bank with someone else
