About

PunchLab — Punch & Kick Force Meter PunchLab turns your iPhone into a professional punch and kick force meter, giving boxers, martial artists and trainers instant feedback on strike power and technique. How it works Secure your iPhone to the punching bag using an armband, tape or stretch band. PunchLab uses the phone's built-in accelerometer to detect each impact and calculate the force in Newtons, along with the angle of the strike from the ideal hitting axis. Three training modes Power Mode — measures and announces the force of each individual strike as you train Speed Mode — counts how many strikes you land in a set time period Time Mode — records how long it takes to reach a target number of strikes Solo and Two-Phone modes Use PunchLab on a single iPhone attached to the bag, or pair two iPhones via Bluetooth — one on the bag as the Sender, one with the trainer as the Receiver — for real-time coaching from ringside. Training feedback Force reading in Newtons for every strike Strike angle showing how straight and true each punch lands Hit count and session averages Visual gauge and bar chart updated in real time Optional spoken readout of force and angle after each strike Session logging Every session is logged with a full hit-by-hit table showing force, angle and timing. Logs can be emailed directly from the app for ongoing performance tracking. Unlock email reporting A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the ability to email session logs, perfect for trainers tracking multiple athletes over time.
