User interface not useable
The programming may be good but the user interface is virtually unusable. It is extremely slow if/when it does work. It is so frustrating that it isn’t worth the time or aggravation to try to access any of the programming to watch on my tv. None of the other apps have this problem so it must be Pure Flix and not my tv or the tv remote. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Pure Flix to anyone.

HORRIBLE
Download the app to my Samsung TV and it’s blurry and pixelated. If I go through the app my phone and cast it to the TV it’s clear but it keeps buffering. I will be canceling the subscription.
Change password again
Right now I’m not very happy. I don’t understand why every time I go to pure flex GM I have to put in my password and information and it makes me change my password every time I go in it’s such a fight and so miserable. I’m so sad.
So good it’s got my kids attention!
This is a great place to comfortably let my kiddo choose and watch something actually faith based and not scared about what scenes next. Although it’s a great place, the app is pretty laggy and takes quite a while to stop buffering and watch especially the tv app.
IOS 16 is not compatible with my iPad, version IOS 15.7
I have an iPad IOS 15.7 that is not compatible with IOS 16, & never will be, so I cannot update and watch PureFlix with the app. I’m shut out. All my other apps on my iPad can be updated for my iPad version, so I know it is possible to do. PureFlix is the only app that has an issue. You need to change your app info to reflect that only iPad IOS 16 or later can access the app. The app says I’m compatible but I’m not. Please consider changing the app info or figure out how to make an app to work so I can use my iPad. I’ve tried PureFlix.com, it’s awful, hardly any movies or shows. Plus my watch list is gone and I don’t think I’m going to bother redoing it. Thanks.

Can’t cancel subscription
The website will not allow me to cancel my subscription before it auto renews next month. The cancellation links do nothing

They stole my money
I used to like this app but rarely used it so i was on a monthly plan. Then after months of not using it i went to cancel and saw i was on an annual subscription. Customer service refused to refund me even tho i sent screenshots of my MONTHLY plan and they can clearly see i haven’t loggin in in months. NOT VERY CHRISTIAN OR AMERICAN TO STEAL AND LIE. THAT IS STEALING. WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY AGAIN.

Update: Remains a useless drain from my bank account. Just go ahead and refund everyone and shut this garbage down. Frndly does a better job at managing your offerings through their app; check in with them, might be a good teaching moment. And yet, as calculated, no reply from anyone. “You’re doin great”

Decline in Christian movie choices
I enjoyed PureFlix starting in 2022 and back then, the platform had an awesome selection of Christian movies. But such a selection has been on a decline since early 2025. I noticed that ever since, there were fewer and fewer Christian movies and then just about the only new movies that come are the Hallmark-style movies which most people in teens or 20s aren’t interested in. I switched to a platform with a better selection of Christian movies.

Issues with Playback
Purchased to watch a specific movie which apparently doesn’t work. Refunds and downgrades are seemingly impossible even when access is a problem. Frustrated with the run around.

Pureflix
Does not work correctly on it’s own on my Smart Samsung TV programs are low color and voice is not loud enough and programs come on the TV real slow. When I had it through Amazon prime it would pop up fast color great and volume great. I do not know what the problem is but I have been trying to connect this program for weeks. Finally had to get an neighbor yo help me and it still is a mess.

Pure Flix has gotten so much great programming that it is now a joy to watch.

Difficult to Navigate
One thing that makes it hard as a new subscriber is trying to navigate my way through the app. When I search for a specific movie or actor, nothing pops up. It makes it difficult to search and I have to make my way and try to manually search for a movie.

Very glitchy app
I love the content on this streaming service but the app is so glitchy that it's not worth the trouble.
Content is not good
This app has a bunch of shows with bad actors that couldn’t even make it to the Hallmark level. Don’t waste your money. There are much better apps for uplifting content.
Great content, app needs work
Love the movies and shows, but the app is lacking in many ways. First, on appletv it disables the screen saver. It keeps a static image and does not sleep. This could be disastrous for my OLEDS!
Next, watching shows is not intuitive. The interface doesn’t bring you back to the next show in your series, but the last one you watched. Some episodes are not played sequentially due to numbering errors, so I must locate the exact episode I want to watch every time! Lately with the app changes, it has made navigation ever more cumbersome.

The new update no longer works on my iPad Air 2 with 15.8.8
Please fix the app. The app is broken. It no longer works on the iPad Air 2. It says to update the app but that is not possible. Apple just released iOS 15.8.8 update a few weeks ago. Thanks.
