Continuously drops out
Maybe it’s the older regional planes but this is incredibly unreliable and is prone to continuously dropping out.
Entertainment would imply it worked
Long day, late flight home - app says announcement in progress the whole time. Was looking forward to just relaxing, topped off by a late flight.

Even though there is entertainment available on the flight it doesn’t connect so I need to use safari to watch movies which is a pain
Ads, ads, ads and more ads
No way to check the trailer of a movie. Be prepared to endure repetitive and incessant ads at the beginning of each title.
Great improvements but some fixes needed
Re-discovered the qantas entertainment app recently. It works very smoothly on recent model devices. But still issues with announcements UI blocking the playback UI even after announcements have concluded. Have to hard stop the app and then restart. Good thing is that I can resume the movie conveniently. Bad news is that I must suffer through all the ads again. This really kills the experience, so detecting that the user has seen the ads should be tracked to avoid this poor experience. Apart from that it’s a great app

Entertainment on the cheap
Took a flight from Melbourne to Perth on a 737 800 last night. I was really surprised to find that there was no back of seat screens or supplied laptops to view Qantas entertainment! It was BYO flight. First of all you have to through the rigmarole of downloading the Q entertainment onto your own equipment which if it’s your phone is too ridiculously small to see anything. Luckily I had my laptop with me so had to do the same all over again and reset passwords to enable me to download. Flight was nearly over before I got to watch anything! Really cheapskate from Qantas. I expect better form Q particularly as it’s a full fare inclusive service and not a budget airline.

Disappointing due ads
There are too many ads that cannot be skipped. Users (who already paid to be onboard a full service carrier) must sit through several minutes of ads each and every time they start a show.

they did not add dexter for watching but i am satisfied of the flight i guess

Got to the airport info says no viewing portals download app did that but no headphones supplied
Useless Low Volume
When using this app the volume was so low I could not use it. Very frustrating! Poor range of movies with no search feature.

Movies section is half decent but not the biggest selection, 3d map janky af and no music only stupid audiobooks for nerds, not a great app, the screens on the seats were much better, bring them back!
Needs a lot of work
You can’t skip forward 10 sec or scrub to find where you were watching without get a minute of ads every time
