Support chat is buggy
I tried to write a message in the support chat window, but every time I tap the text field to type, the app opens then closes the keyboard, preventing me from doing so.
No help
You can’t get help. The chat for help doesn’t even work. You have to click several times on the box to be able to write something that is wrong with the desktop app. After several attempts that took several minutes to just being able to write the problem, the only help was to remove the desktop app and reinstall it again and this isn’t the first time.
Then for the phone app that makes it miserable to chat for help, the help is to remove the app and reinstall. Thanks for the support!!!

New logo design/green is 🤮
I’m sorry, I love you guys, but this new logo design with both apps is awful. I come from a graphic design background and the moment I saw it, I hated it. Terrible shade of green, it looks like baby puke and the logo feels cheap and gimmicky. Nothing was wrong with the old branding, had a nice professional feel similar to IBKR. This feels cheap like I’m trading on wealthsimple or something. I’d go back to the drawing board or reverse course.

Ads in notifications are not ok
Ads. In notifications. From my financial institution. The company I give my money to. No. This is not ok. You will be told so at every turn.

This morning as of writing, no trade can be placed on this app no matter how you try.
Update: after trying for about 40 minutes. The App seems to be working again and accepting trades without giving out errors like it did previously. However, the unexpected outage led to missed opportunities.

Unreliable
App failed to work when attempting to trade options twice in the last 10 days.
Needs work for obvious use case
This app desperately needs a sort function that consolidates positions across accounts so you have a simple list of Positions ranked by mkt value. The Group Symbols function is not it. I want to see all my AAPL, GOOG, etc. summarized on a single line, regardless which account they’re in. Instead group symbols creates separate pages for each company with line items for each account’s holding of that symbol. Not very useful for overview.

Seriously, use a different broker.
I have given Questrade multiple chances because I really do think the UI design isn’t bad. But how do you not have a functioning brokerage on one of the most consequential days in market history? What are we paying all these commissions on contracts for
SpaceX ipo?
The help bot is useless… I’m probably going to move my accounts away from questrade as it’s frustrating me that I can’t find out how to get retail access to the SpaceX IPO

Unacceptable Issues After Stock Splits
I’m extremely disappointed with Questrade. After stock splits, I often lose access to the stock for several days or even over a week. When access finally returns, the dollar amount, share numbers, and average cost are incorrect. I’ve had to call multiple times just to get one issue fixed. This is frustrating, unacceptable for an investing platform, and I would not recommend Questrade.

Way worse than peers
I tried questrade the last 2 weeks, webull is my main platform. It is not even close to webull. Maybe if you pay for data on questrade, it will be closer to webull. But you get everything for free at webull. It has been a brutal demo and I certainly won’t be paying for market data nor switching from webull. Avoid!

Almost great.
All works well however when placing a trade why are not given the chance to enter either an amount or number of shares? Currently, I have to guess how many shares in order to match the amount I want to buy. That takes extra and valuable time.
Fonts are small
This app has two major display issues
1. Fonts are small and light making it difficult to read. Whereas apps like Yahoo Finance or Wealthsimple is easily readable
2. When exchanging funds between accounts or converting currency , the main page gets out of focus and the button to close that page gets all the focus
Apart from these two issues app works fine as intended.

Freezing
The app is fine, but if you flip to another app and back it freezes and you have to totally exit and get back in. Those seconds have cost me valuable trading seconds and it’s infuriating!!! Fix this!!
