A Few Issues I’d Love Help Resolving
I’ve been a Quick Note user since launch and have genuinely enjoyed the app — even purchased a few features. That said, I’m running into some persistent issues I’d love your help with:
Recording cutoffs
• Longer notes get truncated on save — the app appears to still be recording, but only a few lines appear in the final note.
iCloud sync not working
• I’ve never been able to get sync working across my devices: 2 iPhones, 3 iPads, and 2 Macs.
• Troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried:
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app
• Verified iCloud is enabled for Quick Note in Settings
• Still no sync across any devices
Device info
• All devices are running the latest public iOS — no beta software on any of them.
Happy to share device details, iOS versions, or screen recordings if that would help diagnose things. Thanks so much for looking into this!

I've found this app to be a valuable alternative to the native dictation app on the iPhone & iPad, addressing some of the issues I frequently encounter.
Unlike the native app, which often times out or fails to capture my thoughts accurately, this app delivers much more reliable results and you can set it to clean up the text and automatically capture to your clipboard. I especially like how easy it is to see the changes to your transcript using the “diff” tab and the recent addition of keeping your audio transcript for a one time fee of $ 4.99.
One of the standout features of this app is its flexibility in storing your notes. It is entirely free and allows you to keep your notes indefinitely or choose to auto-delete them after 1, 7, or 30 days, depending on your preference. The fact that this app is offered at no cost is truly impressive.
Although you can do much of this with the native voice memos app, it is not reliable and does not clean up your notes like Quick Notes does. Love the simple user interface as well.
I would love to see future updates include iCloud syncing, shortcut support, and a widget for even greater convenience.

Great!
Really enjoying the app. I use it when I’m meditating as a way to get things out of my head quickly so I can better focus on my breath. I just wish it bypassed my phone’s auto-lock setting so it could stay open and active longer. Right now I have to turn off auto-lock display before using the app the way I like to.

First version with liquid glass was better
Pretty much just got the title says.
Gemini API option does not work
I hit purchase and nothing happens. This occurred even before the upgrade to the new version. I’ve even deleted the app and reinstalled it. Has been that issue, this is a very useful app and highly recommend it.
