Most Amazing Airfare finder out there!

I just signed up and already booked a trip.
I had searched on my own via airline apps and travel websites. All I could find were economy tickets for way more money than what I just paid for 2 first class flights round trip! Way to be Ratepunk!!!

Not worth it in Australia

I have read some good reviews for Ratepunk, that could be true if you are searching in a market like US or Europe where you have multiple airlines.
But unfortunately in a country like Australia you can hardly find cheap and bargain deals.
I wouldn’t recommend this app for in Australia or Asia.

Be prepared to pay more if you want anything other than economy class. You get your subscription click on business class and immediately have to pay more money to see any flights.
Seems very misleading or dishonest right from the start.

False advertising

All the prices they quote for flight tickets are incorrect; the prices shown on the webpage change when you click through to the actual booking page. The discounted price displayed is wrong to begin with, and the original price also increases.

Total scam

I initially signed up because I saw an advertisement on Facebook saying seniors should not be paying high rates for business class and Ratepunk could get tickets for under $2000 for trans Atlantic business class. Their deals are ridiculous unless you want to travel when the deal is and where they are going. If you want tickets to specific locations even if you’re flexible with your schedule, you can’t find any deals. It’s a waste of time and money. Stay away

A very low Business Class fare can exist for a particular route and date without being available for every destination or travel period. RatePunk cannot control when or where airlines release these fares. If your destination is fixed but your dates are flexible, we recommend setting up a Price Alert with flexible dates. You can select your preferred departure airport, destination, travel class, and a broader travel window, allowing RatePunk to monitor more possibilities and notify you when a suitable fare appears. This is often more useful than relying only on the deals currently displayed in the feed. We also want to clarify that RatePunk is not intended to guarantee a Business Class ticket below a specific price for every route. Many airlines aren’t included. Yes there’s low rates to random places but not what I’m looking for and not on all airlines. Not to mention 4-5 messages a day.

Please refund my elite membership

Useless app. There is no way to cancel your sub this is just a money scam with some useless AI behind it. Elite doesn’t allow search by date. No way to select air carrier. Not useful to people who have jobs and can’t fly any random date. There was no way to contact support.

I have had the same experience with Ratepunk and now have a further $70 charge that I do not know what it is for as my subscription does not explain what this rip off charge is for
I am currently overseas and will cancel my subscription when I return as I did not approve tis charge

Same Price as Expedia

Compared the prices and it’s the same as Expedia or even the airline website. The only difference is that I had to pay rate punk $20 while i paid Expedia $0. Don’t know what the deal is, a lot of time the offer price is higher than the listed price.

Useless - use google flights

Was charged three transactions over 3 months. The service is no better than google flights, no premium options or amazing business class deals, it’s a real bummer. They should spend more on the platform and less on marketing.

Deceptive

The adds promote a system where you get opportunities to fly first class at reduced rates. After signing up and laying a subscription I only get stuff I can find on google, and then they want more if you want first class or business class searches. Nope. Not good enough. Feeling ripped off.

Overall no value add - skip this app

I have used the base app for 6 months and have never been able to book or of the AI deals presented. Also I was upgraded to a tier I did not ask for and when it billed I asked for a refund and they have policies saying only 25% refund even though I asked on the same
Day it billed. Just not worth the time- in my opinion skip this app. Not a great experience and slightly predatory on cancellations and refunds.

Rip off and privacy invasion

This company charges a large yearly fee for what many other apps already do for free. The results I got were no better than momondo, hopper, etc.

After asking for a refund within the time frame they specify, they kept asking for more and more information to “process the refund”.

They literally asked for screenshots of bank statements. Which is an invasion of privacy and very likely is illegal.

Scam company, bad product, poor business practices, and a clear lack of understanding the legal ramifications of their nonsense “refund verification process”.

I am heavily considering checking into whether or not these are grounds for a lawsuit.

They will give you what they say is a yearly deal then start charging more a few months later. They make it difficult to cancel membership as it isn’t directly on the APP. Also, deals are not much better than other free travel websites.
