App crashes
The app crashes whenever I try to open it in the recent days. I'm not sure if there was any updates happened to the app. I need to reopen it a couple times and then it'll work. I'm using iphone 17 and not sure if anyone else facing the same issue.

Brutally obsolete app. And now they seem to want to scan you dir license and password every time you initiate a transaction. While I understand the anxiety about banking fraud…it seems usability has taken a complete step backward. Every other competitor banking app is FAR easier to use…

Horrible customer service
Card having issues, attempted to reach RBC customer service probably 20 times and not a single response back. God awful service, have been a customer for almost 20 years and will absolutely be taking my money elsewhere, what a disgrace
Buggy for ID verification
In attempting to designate my iPhone and iPad as trusted devices, the app asks to scan images of my ID, but the app fails in different ways depending on whether it’s on the iPhone or iPad. On the iPhone, I can never get to the point of scanning my ID because the app says the screen is obscured when it isn’t. On the iPad, I do get to scanning my ID, but upon taking the required selfie, the app suddenly quits. This is an extremely buggy program.

Stay away go online
I finally realized why everyone is going to online banking and now so am I along with my whole business. 12:01am they block my business card, I can’t make a purchase in a very critical time. I call… 10 min with some chat bot, finally someone picks up “oh sorry this sorry that” forwarded to security department (25min hold) finally some imigrant picks up again you can’t understand. Now they want, verification it’s me, gave him 5-6 pieces of information (private and confidential) still not good enough for him. So he jumps of the phone comes back 5 min later “well ??? I’m waiting”. I snapped. my bizz, my money, 3h on calls with these ppl and it’s one imigrant after another taking Canadians jobs and can’t even help an RBC customer. Sooo DONE! goodbye RBC you are as bad as rest of the banks now, actually a lot worse because tho others suck at a lot of things, I can still get a human on the phone in under 2 min and I don’t have to be on hold 3h with nothing resolved. You screwed me and my business in the time of need. Online banking here I come and they offer better rates on everything than you guys. All you do is fill your executives pockets from the hard earned money of citizens.

Most recent update has a weird “view all accounts” look, please bring back the old look.
Privacy Be Damned
Asking for a photo of my driver’s license or passport to verify my identity in the app is a huge privacy issue. I can see no way to circumvent uploading a photo, so every time I login I’m obligated to get a text to confirm it’s me logging in. Scarily invasive

Can’t download app after I switched phones
I switched from a IPhone 14 to a iPhone 16 and I can’t download the app now. Apple or RBC say they can’t do anything about it. They are being lazy. So I don’t know what to do. Please let me know if I do something in the settings of my phone. Thank you.
Worst ever app experience
Whenever trying to open the app , keep asking to verify either passport or drivers license. After successfully verified, the next day or week again same request. Sick and tired of updating the same information for each time you use the app????
Horrid update
The new updates sucks and when the new update came I lost one of my accounts…
What happened?
Why making things harder to find and very annoying to use with the new and totally unnecessary landing page in the app? This should be an app, not a website.
Day change at the account level!
Please continue to improve the DI app by instituting day change - $ and % - for each account in the portfolio. Every other financial institution that I use has this capability. Just do it!

No one cares
Everyone I speak to about a very simple issue. I’m having is passing the buck off to somebody else and blaming other institutions. It is 100% RBC’s fault and no one is willing to take any accountability.
