Useless
I opened an account here to use as a substitute to Revolut and what a disappointment. Adding money to the account to long winded and complicated. Some features are not set up and not operational, and I have been trying to close my account for months now and it won’t allow me to. What a mistake to open an account this app. Utterly useless.

Unbelievable great personal service.
Great banking app and when you need to talk to someone they answer the phone without having to sit in a queue or talking to a AI machine and press a million options. No simply, hello I am so and so and this is my problem and it gets solved. Just so refreshing.
Cannot make payments
Had Ribbon for a while. For about the past 3 months have been unable to make ANY payments online. In app confirmations never appear and my requests to support go unanswered. What’s the point of a bank account if I can never use my card??!? Avoid these people and just use Monzo or Revolut instead.
Not Ux friendly
Unable to complete identity process. App would hang each time I tried to take reverse image of my driving licence!
Too slow.
Sadly everything takes ages. It can take more than a day just to simply convert GBP to EUR. It also takes hours to receive funds when depositing and also takes hours to add a recipient to be able to transfer funds out. When other online banks do this in seconds , sadly you’ll be pushed to use other banks.

Very easy to sign up, and easy to use. Living in Gibraltar, it’s very handy to have a multi currency debit card that i can use in Spain as a local. Highly recommended.

Have money in the account and can’t log into the app to transfer the funds and can’t get cash from a machine as they said they were updating the app and would be back in less than 24 hours, it is now 4 days later and still no access. If it is not active by tomorrow so I can access my money I will be taking legal action against this company and take them to court as they can’t stop people getting their own money.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and would just stick with Revelout or wise as they can update the app and you can still access your money.
