Needs a lot of work.
Tried using the app. The discount is nice but the set up is annoying. Then my credit card info was deleted so I had to set up everything a second time. The setup was complicated so I decided to use Lyft.
On a side note I’ve had good experiences with freaking me to the airport but really negative ones with drivers taking me from the airport to my home. One refused to take the payment via the app and overcharged me. The other was verbally abusive.

App crashes
App closed when I hit “book now.” Reopened app to see if the ride was in “Active Rides.” Nope. Tried again. Same result. Checked email & texts to see if confirmation sent that way. Nope. Seems ride did not get booked.
No Trip Code
The app shuts down whenever I select the option to “Generate a Trip Code”. Started when I upgraded to iPhone 17. Cost is much more without a trip code.
App is trash
The drivers they employ are typically wonderful, kind, patient people. Waiting anywhere from 2-30 minutes to get a ride in 2026 is ridiculous and I often have numerous authorization holds trying to wrestle a driver to come. Needs major improvement
Glitch keeps closing
I’ve used this app for years, but the latest update has a glitch that makes it unusable. I get to the point where I’m requesting the rife (after I set destination), and it quits. I haven’t been able to use it with this version. I’ve had to switch to Lyft, which is a shame.
Every time I use it, it gets worse
I can’t schedule a ride ahead of time. The app closes everything I hit the schedule ride button after I’ve entered all my information. I’m trying to use cabs more often than ride shares, but this app makes it hella difficult.
Don’t use this app
I have tried multiple times to book rides from LAX to my home and every time when I get to the generate trip code the app closes. Supervisors at the company can’t give me the app price for a ride.
App Didn’t Work
I filled out all the required information, pick up address, destination, and when I pressed the request ride button, the app closed. No information was recorded.
Worst service, took them an hour to find me a ride. Very unsatisfied because I’m running super late!

Can’t place an order for a cab for later ride, today 3-23-26 because app crash’s. Tried 2 different phones and multiple times
Maybe they show up, Maybe not.
Don’t count on these taxi drivers on showing up on time… or even showing up at all for that matter. It has worked out for me several times. And at a decent price. But I won’t chance it again.

Please fix bugs
I’ve been a long time user of this app and it has worked well in the past. Drivers are always punctual. There is a new bug where I cannot schedule out a ride and the app crashes. It’s been awhile since I used the app so I tried to make a trip code. This worked on the app but I was confused by what it meant. It appears the trip code is only used at hotels and airports where taxi lines are but my trip code still went through when I was mapping from my house to the airport, which should be an existing guardrail. I ultimately cancelled the trip code once I realized a taxi was not on its way, and I called a Lyft instead as I was running late. I have no idea if I got charged for the trip code I ultimately had to cancel and there is no way for me to contact customer support. Please fix. I like the service but issues like this make it tough to continue using.

I used them twice before. Both times the driver wouldn't accept the app code. One driver even yelled at me because he was frustrated with the tech on his end. (I didn't ride with him). This last time, I booked the night before because I get anxious before traveling. No one showed up. And no way to contact anyone. Now I'm waiting fifteen extra minutes for a Lyft. Hopefully I'll make my flight. Won't ever use this app again.

Impossible to contact them quickly
Never again! I booked my ride to the airport for the next day, but I needed to confirm the pick-up time. The app lets you enter the pick-up time, but once booked it only shows the date, not the specific time. I tried to get in touch with them to confirm, but there is no Help option in the app. I ended up having to search for their website through a browser on my phone. The help page required me to sift through their FAQ, where I finally found a Submit a Request button at the bottom. Unfortunately, they don’t have a simple phone number to call. I had to send my message as text through some third-party system they use, and I never heard back. They had my phone number and email address, but I never received a response. I couldn’t confirm the time I had scheduled my cab for, and the next day, my car didn’t show up – and they make it impossible to contact them directly when something goes wrong. I had to cancel my ride and order a Lyft, which made me late for my flight. Thanks, RideYellow. I won’t be using you ever again and I certainly won’t be recommending your service to anyone.

Charges
My last two rides with RideYellow had 8 debits and 6 credits on my credit card statement and a couple small .34 cent charges. Sent two emails asking what was going on and no response. Im hesitant to use them again. No other way I could find to contact them.

Boomer father insisted on me using his “great app, much better than Uner (I use Lyft anyways, he’s never even used Lyft or Uber “doesn’t ‘trust it’”.)
He books my pick up for me using my card because i’m not an adult who can’t book his own lyft as always at 40yrs old apparently.
Cab picks me up, doesn’t have my address in the gps already like Uber or Lyft despite “me” pre paying and scheduling online. Drops me off long way, insists on cash, like won’t let me leave without paying cash despite already putting in the card.
Realized afterwards card was also charged. It was supposed to be $37 was $55 instead. The app also charges it as “App” not “Ride Yellow”. Literally just says “app” with an airplane logo. Total scam vibes.
