Terrible app WiFi issues
This app is terrible lately. It never connects to WiFi and you have to force close the app like 5 different times until it finally connects to your phone. Who are the developers??

Horrible app
This app and the RWM200 is total waste of money and time. It does not allow you to do anything. I cannot set the temp up, cannot run recirculate on demand, it literally does nothing.
App doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work most of the time and kicks me off several times a day. Very disappointed in this product!!!!

Poor SmartThings Integration
The app does not integrate with SmartThings well and break my automation. It’s been like this for years with no fixes
Just OK
I have been a Rinnai user and installer since before recirculation existed. That being said, the app still needs a bit of work for me to promote it to customers. For me using an iPhone 13 Pro Max, the app still functions below expectations. The module connects and disconnects randomly. When recirculation starts, the water drop turns green but it still continues to say ‘Not in Use’ next to it. Changing the run time or temperature is still sketchy as to whether it registers or not.

Pointless app
New tankless water heater has a QR sticker to download the app. The water heater does not have WiFi without purchasing an additional accessory, but it is supposed to have Bluetooth. The app does not have any Bluetooth connection functionality.
Pointless
Instructions provided with my new tankless heater do not work with this app. When adding a device with the app there is no option to add my heater and i do not the opportunity to pair with it.

Waste App does not work
The app is useless for my Rinnai systems in my house. Tried with my RX160iN for example and the app doesn’t work at all.
Why is it so difficult
This app is worthless. Why won’t it connect and why won’t it stay connected when so close to the modem? We’ve had the same schedule and it now isn’t even recirculating. Our tankless is only 3 years old!

Cant believe such a big company would allow an app like this… Really brings down the brand. Useless, dont bother downloading.
Unable to connect to water heater thru Bluetooth
This is the most frustrating app, The instructions say to use the app to connect with Bluetooth but there is no place to connect and the the instructions say to use the professional version but the app keeps connecting to the personal version
Garbage app
App does not work well. Multiple times I found myself in a screen/page of the app that was incorrect or not working but there was no home/back button. I had to close the whole app and reopen.
Solid performance appreciated
All features I use working reliably. If I made an ask, it would be to allow recirculation times less than 5minutes. One of our showers short distance from heater so 1-2 minutes plenty for instant hot water.
Worthless
Just had a new Rinnai tankless heater installed. While the heater is excellent, the App is useless for the new Bluetooth connection. The work around is to “pretend” you’re a professional, and connect that way. What’s the point?
Recent updates
I have the Rxp199in and the rmw200 and button for 1 year. It has always been problematic.
With this latest update I have deleted the app and deleted the water heater and re-paired the rmw200 again to the water heater. If you have the button if that looses connectivity then the entire app breaks. I now have the button 2 feet away from the water heater.
Also you are not able to trigger the pump at the water heater. Not great. I have the button there now to start it ‘on demand’
I know I have done the reset from scratch in the past but keeping my fingers crossed it stays responding.
*update 1 week later. Working still.
