Can not update my payment settings or use the delay my payments option. Will not submit. App use to work just fine now glitches galore.
Terrible tracking idea
So they decide that your phone and solely your phones gps system is sufficient enough to track “hard braking” this fails to account for the plethora of situations in which you are not at fault for having to brake harder than 8 mph a second. Wether it be a sudden stop of the person in front of you or a light changing too fast they will track it and put the blame on you. Additionally they will ding you for rapidly accelerating regardless of your starting speed so quite literally pulling away from a stop sign a little too fast for your PHONE to track not even the car you will be dinged also as many others have stated getting on to a highway they basically want you to dangerously merge and not get up to proper speeds. Essentially if you blow through red lights at 50 miles over the speed limit as long as you didn’t accelerate or stop too hard you’ll be good.

Safeco is a great company. They have handled a couple of policies and they have been timely and fair.
Breaking
Breaking is too critical while driving in city and around traffic lights.
Closes every time
This app is the worst. It used to work fine for a few months and now it just closes on its own after I log in. I can’t even see my policy or billing.. nothing it just crashes and closes in seconds. Please fix it!

This app crashes like crazy on iPhone 16.
Terrible
The app is just as terrible as the company. No customer service, insanely high rates, doesn’t communicate with the department of motor vehicles.. they appear to be predatory and i perceive them as a criminal organization.
The app crashes 100% of the time
I am not sure if something changed, but over the past 24 hours I have had the app immediately force close ~20 times. Each time I try it's the same behavior: The app opens correctly when not logged in, but once I click continue to log in with my account, it just shuts down and closes out.
I have re-installed it a few times, and restarted my phone - I am assuming a bug of some sort got pushed to the app potentially.

RIGHT TRACK RACKET
Clearly designed to minimize discounts as much as possible. The app will ding you for completely normal breaking and acceleration in order to prevent you from getting the discount you signed up with. Don’t believe me? You’ll understand within a day of using the app.
Canceled my insurance
Living in California seems to be a problem with insurance companies. I never filed a claim yet. Safeco canceled my insurance anyway and had no alternative. Granted the insurance commissioner of California is a joke and has no clue what he’s doing. However, the insurance companies need to find a solution to ensure real estate in California.
