App doesn’t work

I have bought my
Filter from
The Samsung official website and QR code on the filter is never recognize

Doesn’t work, and harvests data

This app claims to allow scanning of water filters to confirm as official. App not developed by Samsung, and doesn’t allow reporting of counterfeit filters despite directing the user to press the “Report” button. There is only one screen in the app, and no “Report” button exists. App requires user to enable location services to scan a simple 2d barcode, which is unnecessary data extraction. App should be removed from App Store as non—functional and data-harvesting.

The Scanner Does Not Work

I have a filter direct from Samsung. It would not scan. What’s the point?

This app is an epic failure.

Useless

It simply will not focus on the QR code, so it’s literally impossible to use.

App doesn’t work

I installed it on an iPhone 13 and tried to scan but it didn’t work. Re-tried multiple times. It gives you an option to rescan but nothing else - no messages or anything else

…Why?

I guess it works… but this is a lot of information to give, alongside the view being very crude.

Should be integrated into some other app instead.

SCAMMERS

istg if I find out your qr code is an data grab I will find you..count you days thieves

Doesn’t work

Do not bother. Does not work.

It Does not work

It does not work

App (scan) doesn’t work.

App (scan) doesn’t work. I followed instructions carefully and it won’t scan QR code with my iPhone.

Does Not Work

No matter how long I keep the QR code lined up, it never scans. There is no option to do anything else. Eventually it times out, asks me to re-scan, or report a counterfeit product (which is impossible to access). I’m just going to go to Amazon and buy an off brand.

Worst scanner in the history of scanners

This scanner never works. So there’s no way to verify the filter you bought directly from Samsung is legit or not. Useless app. Don’t waste your time on it.

Won’t scan.

Absolute garbage. Doesn’t scan no matter how many times I try.

App is as worthless as Samsung Customer Service

App doesn’t work!

Horrible app and process

Ordered a replacement filter from Amazon, which if you decide to make sure it isn’t a counterfeit, we have to download the app to scan the QR code. An unbreakable loop that if it times out it gives you the option to report the filter, but has no place to report. Brutal. Expect more from Samsung.

Garbage Doesn’t Work

Garbage app will not scan the QR code as it has you put the QR code in a tiny box that iPhone camera will not focus on. Stupid to force people to scan something to find out how to install the stupid water filter purchased on Samsung directly. Total garbage and useless!!!

Update: Was able to scan if manually zoom in iPhone camera. However, the app doesn’t actually do anything besides tell you whether filter is authentic or not and steal your data. From the packaging, it seemed like the app would give you installation instructions. So, I find the whole thing misleading, useless, and a scam to steal your data. Separately, the water using this filter tastes like garbage (tastes like unfiltered tap water). Previous, LG filtered water was delicious.

it's works fine

Just be patient when using it. You have to PINCH TO ZOOM otherwise you cannot align the template with the QR code without it not focusing. It's a bit annoying that you have to be so precise when scanning it. Don't know why they stopped giving the magnet though, that was more straightforward.

It does not work

Your app doesn't work

Useless garbage

This app is authenticate the filter product. The QR code will not scan which I guess means in have a counterfeit filter. But it says if the QR code won’t scan report the counterfeit using the “report button” there’s no report button. I’m guessing the app is the problem but the filter is fine? How would anyone know. I just wasted an hour. This review took 2 minutes and was worth the vent. App author: go get your Wendy’s application.
