PSA TO PHYSICALLY DISABLED PEOPLE..
If you are disabled and use this app for SARTA, and you use “Wheelchair Accessible”, be ready for a driver to get angry with you and accuse you of faking your disabilities. Most of the drivers are nice and friendly, but there is someone who doesn’t know common sense. Just because it says “Wheelchair Accessible” as the button, does NOT mean it’s JUST wheelchair users. This person also doesn’t NEED a background of your medical history to access it, as it’s not their business.
If you are physically disabled, wear something that shows you are, unless you want to be cussed at.
And to the driver (you know who you are, as do the others) keep your mouth shut. You don’t need to be knowing peoples issues. You are just a driver, act like it.
