Just Use The Box
The Saunabox Pro Steamer with the infra red system is great within itself. But this app? Garbage. Doesn’t consistently pair. Preheat didn’t work & completely shut down the session when I tried going back into the app. Please just go back to the remote if you can’t get the app in order please and thank you.

App has bugs
The app has some bugs for sure. Overall I like the concept, but I can’t even use it right now. The Bluetooth took several attempts to connect but I was able to get it working on day 1. Day 2 it keeps asking my to setup a profile when I already have one. No login option. I was just going to make another profile, but after you key in your height it goes back to the beginning asking for your name all over again. It’s an endless loop. As a fellow professional coder, this is garbage, please fix.

Worked for a second….
Aside from the UI which is pretty basic and needs some help, the app worked for three sessions without issue. Now, it’s stuck on the “customize your experience” pages with name, age, height, etc. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled three times and no luck. They need a serious overhaul to make this useful.

Never connects
This app is awful. It never connects to the unit. It gives an error every single time.
Non Functional with SteamBox
1. First off unclear what you connecting too. Has multiple things in list but once you connect. It’s intermittent whether it preheats or not.
2. If it does preheat properly it NEVER goes into session you setup, it immediately turns off. You can select start session on app but steam kit is not on a running at all. You then have to manually turn on.

The App could use some improvements
So far I love my Saunabox but there are some issues with the phone app that could be improved. The Bluetooth connection is weird, it requires me to find the Saunabox and start a new connection every use rather than remember the unit from session to session. But the most annoying app complaint is when I set it up with a time and temperature and it resets to whatever setting it wants to, example, I’ll set it to 15 temp for 30 minutes, but after a 10 minute heat up it reverts back to 8 temp for 20 minutes every time I use it.

Garbage
Bluetooth doesn’t connect on android or iPhone
App doesn’t work and you can’t get support
App is pretty atrocious. The UI makes little to no sense - you cannot remove a device once connected. So when the app doesn’t work to your Saunabox there isn’t a way to reset it.
For some reason you also can’t remove it from your Bluetooth settings manually.
Heaven forbid you want to submit a support ticket - the app still doesn’t work.
Real shame given that the product itself is great - but why spend more for the app version if it doesn’t work.

love the new look of the app
I used the older app before, and the new one definitely looks nicer. The design feels cleaner and it’s easier to use. Tracking my sessions just feels easier now
Less clicks to start sauna!
I love the product, but the app should be geared to using the sauna. It’s so many clicks to change the settings if you didn’t start a session with the app. If the sauna is already going, why can’t I see the current setting when I connect rather than starting the session from scratch? Also, the amount of time for preheat is not enough. Sauna was still cold.

SaunaBox Go fail
The app fails to connect to the steam box. Also fails to cancel session requiring you to wait entire session to reset. It advertises Bluetooth controls of temp and time but I’ve only seen it work once before crashing. Be aware the sauna itself is great using manual controls but the app is useless.

Love my sauna box so much and this app is a perfect combo with it
Best purchase ever
This was the best purchase ever! I now can do at home workouts and then use it instead of going to the gym and having to share a sauna. Even on days I just wanna use the sauna I can just go to my garage and use this instead having to get my truck and waste gas! VERY VERY RECOMMENDED!!
Pointless app
Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected, or auto connect from session to session.
Not sure why people say you can adjust temp and time, because it literally doesn’t offer any sort of control of your “session” other than logging the time. Legit no reason to download this
