Such an idiot who developed this app. Do you atleast use this app for your own account? Don’t just develop 3rd class products and leave for consumers to bang their heads on it. My account was locked for a day due to invalid password, and when I enter the right one the next day, the message on this app says “ your account have been locked for the day due to many attempts”. This won’t let me register again as well. How do you expect customers to login in this case, even with right password? Did you use common sense at all while developing this?

Pathetic app
It is a shame for the nation that prides itself on Digital evolution to have a bank like SBI with a broken netbanking or app. I wish we will bankrupt SBI and throw their IT infrastructure in garbage, along with the morons who developed Yono site and secure otp app.

Every time when i opens the app it mentions to download a new app as this app is going to discontinue. But couldn’t find the new app in the app store. Honestly why SBI have to go with new apps all the time since they can fix or update the current app. Especially as an NRI customer these kind of changes are a big headache as we have to get OTP for all the updates and OTP for international numbers are not prompt. India is fast growing but at the same time our banks are putting more security features to make the life of a customer difficult. Strengthen Security features are good but it have to be done at the bank end not at the customer end.

More inconvenient than sms otp
I set this up for convenience as i dont frequently use my registered number sim. But this app doesnt even work half the time. Seeing a blank screen when requesting for an OTP with no message just an empty rectangle box that should show the otp message.

I get my otps through app for login but for transfers still need sms.

Its a good way for customers protection but It’s very hard to do a transaction using Yono App while you have to open #Sbi Secure Otp app to get the code and then logout it then return to yonolite and complete the transaction…stone age design 😂🤣😂
Reliable app to get OTP
No delays unlike SMS OTP. Works every time. Usability could be improved further by reducing few clicks. 1. Add logout on every screen, so user doesn’t need to go to Home Screen every time just for logout. 2. On logged out screen, no need to show pop up message, as it shows login screen upon logout.
This version 2.2.1 is not working
Hello App support team This versions of app is not working. After the first registration page and sending SMS message with key to the predefined number. The second page stuck with “authenticating....” message and nothing happens. I also deregistered in the online SBI and downloaded the SBI secureOTP app again to go through the registration process as per the instructions given on the help page. Please advise.

Very Helpful App and Thanks SBI for Developing Such app
I downloaded this app it helps me to get OTP for all transactions when out of India or in India. You don’t need phone OTP anymore. first have to register this app with your registered mobile number with bank and after that this app will work.
Useless app, cannot complete the registration stops OTPs completely
I am writing this review as an SBI customer. I have been with SBI for over 20 years. I have an NRO account with SBI. I was getting OTPs through SMS until I clicked on Secure OTP method on my internet banking.
The app cannot be in installed on a non-India number. It stops the OTPs even when you couldn’t complete registering for the app.
SBI manages to mess up every single experience for its customers and this is deeply disappointing.

This app never worked. I have been trying every few months since 2020 to see if they have fixed this but sadly they have not. I have finally given up. Shame on you SBI! You are the worst Bank I have ever experienced.
Activation Code Not Getting Sent to Non India Numbers
Unable to complete registration / activation. The final step of activation code sending is happening. For non-India phone number the activation code is not getting sent. Please resolve issue asap.
Incompetent people setting security policies at SBI
Keep this crap open for some time and then it locks you out for 5 mins saying "You have an active session due to abrupt closure of App. Kindly try after five minutes.". So secure that even regular users give up. No users, no security issues!

The process does not work. A complete waste of over six hours over the weekend and it still doesn’t work. Whoever designed this stupid system should be fired!
Not generating Otp for transfer of branch request
Otp box is coming blank for transfer of account to other branch request. For other options opt is getting generated. Fix the issue.

NRIs stay away from this app
I echo the sentiments voiced by another customer in the review. I am a UK resident and thought an app would be handy to generate OTP than relying on the network whilst in India. However, the app has a serious issue with registration and I am stuck with no OTP as SBI has stopped sending OTPs to the registered mobile number. The customer service at my branch has no clue to resolve this. Apparently, I am supposed to inactivate the secure OTP linked to my account via the app, but God help you with registration which is a nightmare. I warn everyone not to download this app or register for this service. I still have no resolution!!!
