After downloading and starting app, adding a new device was easy. I had no issues with the step by step instructions. Connecting and controlling the rs1 thermostat is straightforward. The newest version of the app is well designed.

The WORST app ever
We had heated floors installed and this controller installed. The device connected to my WiFi but the app would not connect. I tried the system reset (turning the circuit breaker off for 30 sec - I did 5 minutes) but it just reconnected to the WiFi and the app again wouldn’t connect. There’s no manual way to set a schedule. I’m having our contractor replace it with a different one.

Worked for two months
This app stopped working after two months. I’ve tried resetting it reinstalling. It keeps telling me connection error!
This one didn’t recognize my account
I have the Ditra-Heat thermostat for in-floor heating and it had me sign up for a Schluter account. This app did not recognize my account. The other, less popular app named DITRA-HEAT Wifi worked fine.
Crashing when you try to use Geofence
Been broken for a while. They just don’t care. App crashes when you try to use GEO fence on multiple devices. Unloading and reinstalling the app does nothing.
Absolute Trash App Lacking Reasonable Functionality
Instructions online are all over the place, you can’t seem to do anything unless you find a way to first disconnect the device from wifi before setting up again in the app itself. Of course information online about how to disconnect from wifi is wrong.
Include some basic functionality in the app please. I haven’t used an app this bad in a very long time. It’s way worse than even niche apps I use for very obscure stuff.
I guess I’ll have to continue wasting my time trying to reset this after accidentally setting up with HomeKit since that locked me out of using the system in the app and therefore from using it with any other home automation as well until I can get this app to see it.

Works as expected
A simple program that works as expected. Instead of investing in a $400 thermostat, a $15 WiFi smart switch would works just as well. On/Off/Timer/Schedule. That’s all that is required.
Can’t even open the app
Like the title said, new iPhone, latest iOS, the app won’t even open. Just white screen. Gave all permissions.
Can’t add device
Having the same issue as everyone else. Can’t add the device to the app. Really stupid.

App seems okay
The app seems okay. The initial connection process was a bit clunky. Honestly my biggest problem is that you basically have to use the app to do anything. The actual thermostat is dumb as a brick without the app. It won’t even display the time if it is not connected to wifi and setup through the app.

Customizable and single app please
Since this device is always on I want to make the outside temp and the time more prominently displayed. I rarely change the temp of my floor so I don’t need to see what the current temp is.
App won’t see thermostat
The fact that this device is almost useless without the app makes the developers lack of interest in fixing it almost criminal. “Buy this better/more expensive device and it will work great” seems like a fraudulent statement with the number of folks who can’t get it to work. No response from the company or app developers shows they either don’t care about a bad product or are inept at their job and unable to fix the problem!

Read reviews before I downloaded app for new floor. I prepared for the worst, but surprisingly happy that I now have flawless access to floor. Yes, linking to thermostat was a bit wonky, but patiently waited through lengthy update and “connection to device”. Unlike Carrier HVAC thermostat app, remote access and temp changes are almost immediately updated (both ways) on app and thermostat. Only suggestion so far, wish app had an “away” toggle to override schedule and stop any floor heating.
