EDIT 2 /RESPONSE 2: How extremely patronizing and condescending of a response! You don’t even know what my career is!! As a former Apple employee myself and Apple product owner for over 35 years I’ll restate simply so you can understand. You don’t need my location or sign in info for you to tell me where someone else’s scooters are at. If you’re a competent developer and coder you could figure it out. Oh yea… you can keep your one star. A zero star if I could. <<< >>> RECEIVED DEV RESPONSE — gave excuse saying they don’t store data. Not storing doesn’t mean you don’t read & analyze it, and needing it the way you say you do is baloney. Don’t store it?? Then you don’t need it! <<<< >>>> I’d think twice about using this app! The design of such an app as this should already have the ability to see where scooters are and not need your scooter account info! Ok<<<< >>>> I give my e-scooter app my location when using it, however, there should be absolutely no need or reason for this app to also have all my e-scooter acct’s info. <<<< >>>> ’m sure I can guess your excuse as to why you want to obtain my scooters accounts personal info. But suffice to say - you ALREADY have my location in your app to see me. And your app SHOULD already know where company’s scooters AND not have to rely on my all my accounts secure info. <<<< >>>> AND THEN…. your app should manage the two location types (MINE & SCOOTERS) and coordinate those two pieces all through & within your apP!! <<<< >>>> Why do you need my scooter accounts’ secure account info? Why do you need my location twice?? WHY should you have my personal scooter accounts info?!! You should not need it to find a company’s scooters!! <<<<

Hello MusicMac, Sorry for just getting back to you! We are actually not allowed to store the location of the scooters, that would be a violation of their guidelines (although I 100% agree that would be ideal). We require you to log in to the providers that require it in order to access their inventory. As we said, we know it's annoying but your information should store within the app after the first login! Edit: I understand your frustration, but I don’t think you understand “guidelines” the vendors put out. By entering your information, it is actually YOU requesting data from THEM. We simply serve as a way to view all the inventory on one screen. My service would get shut down by some vendors if we “store” the location of their products (scooters) which is what would be needed unless YOU make the requests from your device. I know software is a bit complicated for some to understand, hopefully I explained it well. (side note..as a senior level engineer, i am 100% capable of writing code to simply save the location of ALL the scooters, but I don’t want to violate terms) I hope you understand and update your review/ratings.
