Seated is the first app I’ve used that actually matches how hosting works in real life. The floor plan comes together fast, and moving people around at the last minute is genuinely painless. It also becomes the single source of truth - when you export the PDF for the kitchen and waitstaff, everyone’s on the same page with allergies, preferences, and notes for each guest.

Seated is a lifesaver for anyone who hosts regularly. Creating a floor plan is straightforward, and making last-minute seating changes is as simple as pressing on a guests name and drag it to a new seat -plus all their details (allergies, VIP note, etc) move with them. No messy notes, no scratch-outs, no confusion.

As someone who loves to host, this app makes the experience of hosting even more enjoyable. It helps me to stay organized with notes of any food allergies my guests have and I love the seating chart feature! Will be using this forever!

You start using and organising tables to find once you put in that effort you have to pay if you have more than 8 guests. Who would use an app for eight people? Very misleading.
Not bad.
The idea is cute and the app is useful. But it is CONSTANTLY GLITCHING and you have to move sloth speed otherwise it shutsdown.

You have to pay money for it to be useful
Turns out I can’t put more than 8 guests or 10 items on there without paying more money or subscribing.. does not help me at all since I need for a wedding seating chart so I have way more than 8 guests!

I recently used this app for a friends birthday dinner and it was so helpful! We had about 40 guests and it helped myself and our caterer stay super organized and allowed me to plan the perfect venue layout. Will be using this app again and again.

I love this app! It has been so helpful to have an on-the-go solution for event layouts. I’ve used it for everything from dinner parties to corporate events and it makes the usual tedious tasks so much easier! My events and catering staff are thrilled with the export feature which allows them to see guests’ special requirements at a glance.

Disappointing
You have to pay to put more than 8 people in an event. Obviously any event that isn’t a child’s birthday party would have more than 8 people so it’s a pay to use app.
Useless
There’s no ability to work on seating charts from a desktop computer. So, you’re stuck trying to do everything from your phone. Also, the CSV import function is SO fussy. I spent way too much time reformatting a CSV by trial-and-error to try to get their system to accept it. I give up. Totally wasted money.

Party planning made easy!
I used the Seated app for a recent ladies luncheon and it made the planning so much easier! Especially last minute rsvp changes and seating requests! It’s customizable and I was also able to share final seating plan with venue to help last minute set up for place cards etc.
Can’t do anything with the free version
I could only add 8 people for an event with the free version. Even if you could plan bigger events for free or a lower cost then the plans they offered, the app itself is not quick to use or operate. A tutorial would be helpful.
Free Version Useless
Free version only allows you to add a couple objects and only seat 8 guests which defeats the purpose of the app. Not worth it
