Too many false alarms

False alarm went off frequently notifying emergency contacts unnecessarily. These occurred when cooking, walking, and even when my Apple Watch was not on my wrist.

Payment issues

Adding to a previous review and removing some stars because the renewal process via Apple was really atrocious, initial payment rejected by either Apple or my carrier and now I’ve set up a new plan and not entirely sure if the app will work. Also, there are far to many plan options with little to no advice on the difference. Great app when it works but the payment issues and lack of information are off putting.

Doesn’t work

I had a 7.5 minute TC seizure with a a heart rate that exceeded 157 BPM. The watch and phone are new and set up for most sensitive. It caught nothing and alerted no one. My husband was home so HE caught it and intervened. Would not recommend. We checked all settings from phone to watch to the app itself. The 4.5 stars reviews are BS

So far the best Seizure Monitoring App for Apple

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now after trying a few others and also the Empatica device. So far this is the best I’ve had. Yes it does pick up on false seizures from movement of your hand like washing hands or scrubbing dishes, or if you’re moving over rough terrain. However so long as you stop the alert fast enough, it’s all good! I don’t mind the odd one here or there. The fact that I can add an indefinite number of carers on and switch them off as needed is awesome! The app synced to my Apple Ultra 2 watch no problem. My only issue is that with the new update came the snooze monitor - what is it? You do t have any info on it in your tips or FAQs.

Does nothing but drain my battery

This hasn’t helped me at all.

Latest update problem

This app is great however since the latest update it only really works with the watch, when it’s open on the phone the phone is far too sensitive and just closing the app sets the alarm off.

In this economy?!

Great until they made you pay to use it. Paywalls with no back button. That earns one star.

Seizure 2/21/26

My fiancé had a seizure while I was at work. I got the distress alert from this app and tried calling him to make sure it wasn’t a false alarm. Well he didn’t answer his phone so I went into panic mode. My neighbors were able to get into my house and confirmed that my fiancé did have a seizure. I’m very thankful that this app works. Saved my fiancé’s life.

Did not work for me

I have the epi watch and app so decided to compare with this app and my Apple Watch - it did not pick up seizures so for me it does not do what it is meant to do. It’s confusing that some reviews highly commend this app and others have the same experience as me.

Doesn’t work

On my Apple Watch this is so ineffective. Did not go off when having grand mal seizures but does when taking a sweatshirt off or fixing my hair. Idk what the point is when it alerts my family for me stretching. Requested refund.

Disgusted

My child used this app for almost a year. Recently, it was changed so it would no longer work with her account until she was 13. So I have no idea how long she has not been monitored. This is beyond unacceptable. They have put her at risk. We use this watch to give her some freedom but now she no longer will have that. On top of her safety which is the biggest concern, I have also had to buy a phone, watch, and the app. Which apparently is all useless now.

Wish I could love it

Simply, it’s just too sensitive. Every time my child ran in gym and then stopped it went off. She grew to hate it despite constantly adjusting the settings. Not a fit for us.

Good product

This app has saved me a couple of times. As soon as I start to seiz it alerts my contact and they show up.

The best

Love it

App crashes at startup, couldn’t even make an account.

Was unable to get past the first screen without the app crashing. Re-installed, rebooted device and it still crashed. Doesn’t inspire much confidence.

Don’t waste your money

Got the app for our daughter after her Epilepsy diagnosis. She’s had two seizures and the app detected nothing, so her Mother and I never received an alert. Does not work.

It’s Paid only

Was looking for a good app to track my seizures and alert people of them just to realize that this one is locked behind a paywall, for only a yearly subscription of over 100$! Seriously?! I’d rather go get a seizure dog instead that’s outrageous!

Monitoring constantly offline

We tried to use this app to monitor my son who has epilepsy via an Apple Watch. Almost every morning we would get an alert from the app saying that monitoring was off-line. It would typically be off-line for most of the day. We contacted the company, but they were unable to fix the problem.

SeizAlarm

I love this app

Did not detect

My seizure. Paying for nothing. Zero stars.
