Actual app doesn’t work
Doesn’t work well to change temperature in the main screen. Seems like developers forgot to include a target area that works for fingers.

Location Access and LAN Access
I have a Sensi Lite thermostat and it never prompts me for location or local area network access which means it cannot find my Wi-Fi and I cannot complete the set up
Sensi and WiFi
I don’t know how’d I’d get along without Sensi.
I have a place in a warm climate. It’s reassuring to know I can check the heat or air conditioning at anytime. So far so good. No problem since I installed Sensi 6 years ago

Reconnecting to the internet
I like very much this unit but I find it is extremely difficult to reconnect to the internet in when it gets disconnected to the internet due to a power failure or other reason
There is no clear way to do it which results in lots of wasted time trying to reconnect

Not user-friendly
Disappointed that this seems to be a little difficult. I’m sure I’ll figure it out, but the Nest thermostats are much simpler.
Won’t stay open
When modifying temp settings on schedule, app reverts to main page so can’t save settings unless you are super fast!!
Thermostat is always disconnected
In the past 24 hours I’ve had to reconnect the thermostat 4 times
Terrible Usability
This app has always had far too many unnecessary steps, drop downs and tapping just to change a simple schedule setting. It’s been like this for years but now it seems even worse. The app has improved in some areas but there obviously hasn’t been enough usability testing throughout out the years. So far the biggest perk with this app is that I don’t have to walk 10 feet to the thermostat to do it. Looks means nothing compared to how people will use and easily navigate through an application.

Sensi Lite Lock
Locked the Sensi lite thermostat. WiFi router/SSID changed. Now can’t unlock and connect to WiFi. Tried creating an SSID the same as the old just to unlock and still it didn’t work out. Can be easier if lock goes away if unit unplugged from the wall.
Defected product
I think there's something wrong with the unit because although it was properly Installed , batteries put in its keep saying no connection on the app any suggestions?
Too often offline
Thermostat too often goes offline, especially when you need it. Disappointed

Just installed my second in my other house
Schedule not working for evening setting
Installed two days ago and both nights the thermostat has failed to adjust to the programmed temperature for the evening. I’ve had to adjust it manually. This defeats the purpose of the “smart thermostat.”
Connectivity
Looses connection to WiFi too frequently.
Don’t do it
When it works it’s great, but when it works is the issue. Constantly disconnecting from WiFi and app is ok.

Won’t stay connected in app
I got this on a recommendation from our hvac guy. I already had a smart thermostat that was working fine, but it didn’t have an auto setting to switch between heat and cooling, the Sensi does. The problem is the Sensi won’t stay connected to WiFi so it’s not actually smart and can’t be used in the app because it won’t stay connected to WiFi. Now I need to take it all down and reconnect my old thermostat.

Sensi thermostat
Best thermostat that there can be. I enjoy it so much that I can control my home or Church temperature to cool or heat by setting up auto settings or schedule settings.
I currently have in my Church 7 Sensi Smart thermostats that I’m able to control temp in each area from my iPhone at home to schedule and turn on the AC in advance during the hot summer months, and heat in advance during the cold winter months all from my iPhone.
I especially like that if it gets either too warm or too cold in my house, I can adjust the temp on my iPhone without getting up.
3 months ago in March I had hip surgery and it was a blessing that I did not have to get up from my bed to adjust the temp in my home.
my daughter also has a Sensi smart thermostat. Highly recommend if you have an old-fashioned thermostat to purchase and convert it. you will truly love it.😃
