Excellent app
The app for the pre/post surgery was an excellent tool. However, it wasn’t until I had the 2nd surgery, without the app that my appreciation increased. The app’s notifications of when to use the eye drops was easier than attempting to remember or writing it down. The information provided for pre/post surgery was helpful to remember what was to be expected and always at your fingertips to refresh the information. I missed it with my 2nd surgery. And having had a previous surgery, that required paper to keep track of meds, etc I would suggest that ALL surgeries have an app to help with recovery

This app is fantastic!
I have used the Sharp app for 3 eye surgeries. Each time I use it I feel it takes the stress of remembering when
to take my eye drops or other tasks required before and after surgery, making it a no brainer as a patient.
Dr Korn is the best at what he does and uses the best tools in helping make things easy for his patients too.

Great app
The Shap Companion app has been a great tool for me prior to cataract surgery and after. The app reminded me to take medicines and safety precautions as well as where and when my appointments were. I can see my progress during my healing which is also helpful. I can see this app being being a great too to utilize for other medical procedures. Over all a great experience.

Eye surgery
I am overwhelmingly happy with the results from my surgery. Everyone over at Sharp outpatient surgery center was so kind, honoring and respectful. I would highly recommend both Sharp and Doctor Korn for all of your eye care!!
User-friendly app
This app is very user-friendly and is really helpful in reminding me when I need to do things like put my eye drops and keep my appointments and surgeries. I like that I can watch the videos to take care of my eyes and I have the contact list for my doctor and nurses.
Cool app
Dr. Korn’s assistant helped me download this app during my consultation appointment for cataract surgery. It is very easy to use, informative, and helpful. You won’t see much activity from it at first, but as your surgery gets closer, the app comes alive. It reminds you of the tasks you need to handle before and after surgery. It also has eye tests to check your vision following surgery, and contact information for any questions you may have for the doctor or his excellent team. It is such a great tool for patients to use.

Simply Amazing!
This app was SO easy to use and it was extremely helpful in assisting me in tracking my daily doses of eye drops and reminding me when to put them in . I loved the fact there was even a five minute timer. I used the eye activity part of the app too. This “senior” (74) loves this technology. Thank you Sharp, for developing the app for those of us who need cataract surgery. No need for us seniors to be afraid of technology!

Grateful senior!
The app is brilliant! It answered all my questions. Further more it made taking meds easier because the app helped me time drop applications as well as reminding me when to take them. I especially liked the hints.
Incredible App
I am 77 years old. I was able to use this App. It was helpful to have a reminder or check list I could use. If I had a question I felt like I first could use this tool. I also thought the vision eye test useful and reassuring. I am not a technology whiz. If I can use this anyone could.
Love this app
Had my second cataract surgery and used the app the first time also. The previous version would not let me view the videos but they fixed it on the new release. Love that it reminds me of all the things I had to do prior to my surgery and continues during the healing period. I have a bad memory so the pop up reminders are great. Thanks for this great tool.

Fantastic app better than paper instructions!
Using the app was fantastic! It kept me up to date for everything that was coming up as well as what I had to do. It’s far far better than having pieces of paper to try to find. Even if I didn’t remember when I had to get things done or when my appointments were the app reminded me. Using the app is simple, efficient and extremely helpful for education also!

Great for seniors for keeping track
The app kept me on track for eye drops. Also very user friendly. I reviewed the video several times to insure I understood the process, which helped with any anxiety. A few minor bugs, maybe weak internet connection, a morning post self erased.

Important part of my care plan
This app helped me both before and after my surgery. It was instrumental in keeping me up to date on tasks. I went back to work after a week and the app became important in reminding me when to take drops. I am a Human Resources professional. I was very open with my staff and employer about the process and I showed everyone the app. I had a resource.

Dr Tommy Korn’s cataract surgery app is fantastic. I used it continually for both eye surgeries. It was informative, easy to use, kept me on track for my drops and was a true blessing to have. I could not have had such a successful experience without it. Bravo Dr Korn !!

I found this app very helpful managing my daily tasks following cataract surgery. Love the fact the app sends a reminder when it’s time to put my eye drops in. Everyone in pre op, surgery and recovery were wonderful. Great experience and I have my eye site back.

Excellent App. Very helpful
This app is an excellent companion to the cataract surgery pre- and post op care instructions. I ve just had my second cataract surgery and find it very helpful. It is interactive and user friendly and provides important information in a succinct and accessible way using clear illustrations so I can see at a glance what I need to do. For example, the app reminds me (patient) exactly how and when to use the necessary eye drops for a complete recovery. It provides a timer to take the guesswork out of the process and checks off the my daily to do list throughout the day so under or over medicating is avoided. Thank you Sharp for this invaluable app for thorough assistance and care before and after surgery.

For seniors - a friendly app
I loved this app. It made it really easy to stay accountable to the drop process. The other great feature was the daily review of the different sizes of numbers. Thankyou for providing this. I encourage everyone to use it!!!!

The Sharp Companion App is a phenomenal App for anyone undergoing cataract surgery. On a daily basis, the Sharp Companion App kept me on point for all pre-surgical and post-surgical events.
