Worst app ever
App does not work correctly. Even if I get it to connect at the station with the pump I’m trying to use, it cancels out. I’ve been scammed 5 times to do full tank fill ups at the supposed discount only to find the app crashed out. I wrote customer service and never got a reply despite a confirmation email that my complaint was received. Even the station cashiers say the app is a joke, rarely works, and they can’t help.

Unreliable and Poor Customer Service
You know, I really wanted to like this app, seeing other good reviews I had high hopes. However, it seems to work paying for gas at the pump about 50% of the time. I’ll pull up to the pump, select the station and then pump number, select pay at the pump, approved it says go ahead and begin. This is where things go south very quickly. About half the time, I can begin fueling and everything goes great. The other half of the time, everything will look good, but when you begin fueling, nothing happens. It just sits there stuck. When you put the pump back and reset, you have to begin the process again. When you do this, however, the app will say that you can’t do another transaction, even though nothing happened on the previous one. The latest one, however, was a real winner. It did nothing but yet it charged me 10 cents. It never began feeling at it. Charge me $.10 for doing nothing. What a joke. The Chevron app works every time. Shell needs to fire their development team.

Apps been broken for my phone number I reached out multiple times even the phone people are dumb foreigners that don’t understand basic English.
New App sucks
You changed the app from Shell Fuel Rewards and now I cannot download the new app and the old app is not allowed me in to update my profile info. You guys had a good working app and now you have screwed it up!
Anywhere But Shell
Absolute garbage app. No support. After you finally archive platinum status, it locks you out of your account. I used the app and two hours later could not open it again. App said credentials are invalid. ( credentials are stored in my phone and autofill and were not changed). Lets me open the Fuel Rewards app, but not the shell app, which is the app you need to open to pay and earn rewards. Also, if there is a pump malfunction where you are fueling -which stops you .002 of a gallon short of the required 10 gallon minimum - Shell passes it off to the station owner and you are screwed out of one of the twelve fill ups you need by a deadline date to earn platinum status. I used to drive past other stations to get to a Shell soI could earn points and get the discount. From now-on I will drive out of my way to avoid Shell to get to a competitor. Complete waste of time and a garbage app, garbage company and standoffish support that gets you nowhere. It's almost like Shell doesn't want you to use the measley 13 cents per gallon discount you get when/IF you manage to "earn" it after they cheat you out you or fill up credit. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this app and Shell itself. Shell sucks! Tell your friends.

See what I mean about Shell? Look at their response. I call out their app for being glitchy, their unsatisfactory response to a very negative experience at a Shell station (you need four full-ups in 30 days to get an extra discount with a 10-gallon minimum. The pump at the gas station stopped at 9.2865 gallons despite the tank not being full and I had to restart the pump which wiped out the 9.2865 gallons and, consequently. The credits for the fill-up.. I submitted a complaint and asked them to honor the minimum and they refused), and told them that I am done buying their products and their response is to offer to help me find a Shell station. Speaks volumes about Shell. Not gonna miss them.

Doesn’t Track Rewards
I’ve had this app for three months now. It stopped tracking my fuel fill ups and amount saved. Doesn’t add all rewards at the pop for money off like it says it does. And customer service help is horrible. In order for them to do anything, they need detailed receipts. They won’t take records electronically. How would I know that I need receipts!? Do better.

Password reset
I have now tried resetting my password as outlined several times and when I hit reset my password on the email it brings me to a browser and asks me to click on the button to go to the Shell app but nothing happens, guess that’s why I don’t use Shell gas. Think your app has issues!
Can’t Update Email
Love the discounts available thru the app but it’s a pain if you need to update your email. I’ve been working on it for 3 days, even with their customer service.
Fuel Rewards via T-Mobile Tuesdays
Redeeming the discount from T-Mobile Tuesdays doesn’t work with this Shell app. It tries to get me to download the older Fuel Rewards app. But I can’t log into the Fuel Rewards app. It just gives me an error saying that the data is in the wrong format. I tried changing my password and reinstalling the Fuel Rewards app but without any luck. Send T-Mobile a new Branch MMP link so that clicking to redeem the reward sends us to the newer Shell app.

Can’t pay at pump
Doesn’t work when you try to pay at the pump. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still doesn’t work. Useless.

This app is just a scam to fuel gas with them,
Not even close to FR app.
I will just use gas buddy in the future, as the map view on the shell app does not show prices at the stations in the area. It’s a poorly designed map.
Update this feature
Need the the option to see the gas prices on the app to determine which gas station have the better price along the customer driving route to get the best bang for are bucks
Login needs an overhaul
The app experience is mostly broken for login and sign up . Doesn’t recognize my auto complete either.
