Don’t use this. Not worth it
Unless you absolutely need slow charging, do not download or use this app. It takes 20 minutes to set up, and when you are buried in a garage with low signal it’s a real pain. You have to click through a dozen screens and they ask for all of your information.

why did i need to give them all my personal information stopping short of my birth certificate and social to use a charger that didn’t even start on the first 3 tries

I tried to open the app to create an account and it’s so poorly designed that you can’t actually enter your information. And there’s no creating account with Google or Apple. Just a total POS
Selecting a Station to Start a Charge Needs Work
I was able to charge fine. My issue is selecting the right charger to activate. I was in the map zoomed out a bit at street level and I saw what looked like one waypoint. I tapped it and it showed me the charger across from me. I found out that each charger is its own waypoint, and if they are clustered together it looks like one waypoint at a reasonable zoomed out distance. You have to zoom in pretty close, like to the point you see the individual lanes in the parking lot, until can choose the right charger.
In the old Volta and later the Shell app, they would group each cluster of chargers into a single site where you then select the site then choose the charger from a list. I prefer that approach over what is used now on the app.

Waste and expensive
Spent the time to sign up and then saw how expensive it was. More than Tesla supercharger that is across the parking lot. And a per session fee? That’s like $10/gallon gas!
