SMALL BUSINESSES BEWARE
Your legitimate business funds are not safe with Shopify. Shopify is engaging in deceptive and fraudulent business practices. They allowed 302 fraudulent charges to be stolen from my balance account, thousands of dollars gone and they blamed me, blatantly lied to me and told me the best course of action would be to close my small business that I had with Shopify for 9 years and to file a case with the FDIC about theft SHOPIFY IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY FOR SMALL BUSINESSES!!! USE SQUARE.

Great app. Gives customers a chance to get in touch with you very quickly, as long as you are around. If you are going to make them wait, there’s no point. We are super fast at responding to customers and customer service is very important to us.

One way login
I don't know what the issue is. Been battling it for over a year.. You can't be logged in on both shopify app and inbox app at same time.
Takes a bit of time/work to log in to your store via this inbox app and doing so logs you out of the shopify app.
As you can imagine, this is far from efficient and a waste of time when trying to look at customer orders while chatting with customers.
It's wild we are in 2026 and have to deal with this issue with such a high mainstream app/service/company

Great idea
Forming Response = Inability to reply to my customers
The app works good, when it works. But alot of the time, as I’ve typed out the response I want to give to my customer, I’m unable to send it as the app is still trying to “form a response” of its own, which will get delayed anyways.

The app has gotten so much worse with the AI that erases everything I write. I would not recommend and I hope Shopify makes this useable.
Slam packed with bugs, I have turned of the AI feature that auto types replies, despite that if I’m in the middle or replying to a customer and they send another message it deletes everything and rewrites the message. This has been an issue for months and has not been fixed, extremely problematic. Furthermore, the app has quite frequent hangs where it just gets stuck if it was open too long. When it works, it’s a great tool.

Missing communication
After the initial reply to the original inquiry is sent, all other communications seem to be disappearing. Trying to repeat the message doesn’t seem to work either. This app is doesn’t work!

The auto generate reply and how it organizes and sorts spam has been great so far!
