Don’t give them your number!

Signed up and gave them my number, immediately started getting multiple spam calls per day (had 0 before). Never use this company.

Disgusted

I’ve been with Shpock for many years about 2 months ago I was unable to list new items I contacted them 5 times and go no answer yet they kept taking a payment for the last 3 months disappointing

No longer the best place to sell

The app is slow. Adverts are annoying. I have been paying monthly to remove ads even then I have to restore in-app purchases each month so that it recognises me. Other than that actual advertising is fairly easy and straight forward.

Spock app

Easy to use. i have been using it for year. doesn’t seem to be as many people as there was a few years ago.

I'm not paying to sell

Remember the days when this used to be free? Now you have to pay 99p a month. That’s actually a joke.

I refuse to pay just to sell stuff. You already pay tax when you buy something, and you may have to pay tax when you sell certain things in the UK, so why would I pay even more just to list an item?

I’ve uninstalled the app because this is actually stupid.

£1 a month?

I can’t believe Shpock asked me to pay £1 a months to give stuff away for free! 😅 Actually in Shock Shpock!

Moving to Vinted

I am starting to move all my items over to Vinted where it is free to sell, there are no adverts popping up and they don’t expire, so I don’t need to pay to re-list them!

Annoying notifications

Lots of spam

Dead App

This was an okay app to list the odd random thing you were happy to have an advert up for ages as the customer bases isn’t really there. Now however they have moved to a ‘you have to pay’ system so you can’t list anything anymore unless you cough up a subscription which has basically killed the app. I won’t be using it anymore.

Ads

It’s useless now it’s just flooded with sofas from the same businesses.

Used to be my go to app, not anymore

Initially it was my number 1 app but unfortunately when the app started charging, it all went downhill. We don’t need another subscription service!
Ads were plastered all over the screen which was so annoying that I stopped using the service. Shame.

Paywall?

I used to love using Shpock but now I can’t even sell a bike without having to pay for a membership? Not sure if there is supposed to be a way to exit that page and continue but I can’t seem to sell without having to buy that membership.

costs money

it now costs money to sell stuff and it has a small userbase hardly any people buy / sell on here

Not loading location

The app won’t load my location problems logging in also showing me other users account. Crazy!!!!

App is becoming annoying

Traders have ruined this app , disgusting how they can post so much and ruin finding stuff .
How many damn beds can actually be for sale . It’s beyond the joke now and finding stuff is even harder than before because of these idiotic traders selling thousands of beds.
Constant scrolling to find items in local area just shows beds after beds after beds . Traders should’ve limited to the number of posts as it’s put off even looking anymore , might as well just go on ‘*bay ‘ and find stuff. Sick of traders wrecking the what once was a good place to find bargains . Sort the damn traders out jeeeez

just stick to vinted

Really not a great app, literally have to pay money to use it. Albeit not much I’d just stick with vinted

Account Problems

Has happened to me twice now with two different accounts I have created. For some reason shows other people accounts when I go to my account section which constantly changes

Can’t re-list without a cost.

Even though I pay monthly to sell, if I need to re-list, there is an extra charge. If someone bids and doesn’t buy, I have to sell as a new item or be charged to re-list. Not impressed with thus new charge, no need for it really.

Awful

Can no longer sell for free? Have to pay at least £1.99 a month
