What's New in Simple Spin Pro
2.2.3
August 21, 2026
2.2.3 — Your rounds no longer all have to be the same length. Until now, every round the wizard generated ran for exactly the same time. Only the effort changed. Now round length can change too, and that one addition is what lets the wizard build almost any session you can picture. NEW — WORK DURATION Open the Smart Workout Wizard, pick Repeating or Progressive, and there is a new Work Duration row sitting right under Work: • Same — every round the same length, exactly as before (default) • Longer — each round runs longer than the one before it. 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 • Shorter — start long and count down to the short, sharp ones at the end • Up & Down — climb to your longest round, then come back down the other side Set how much each round changes, or how long the longest round should be, and the wizard writes the whole session for you. Nothing is a surprise once you are on the bike: • A plain line tells you what you just built — "Each round runs 1:00 longer - 1:00 up to 4:00." • The rounds themselves are spelled out before you save — 1:00 R16 · 1:30 R16 · 2:00 R16 • TOTAL WORKOUT moves as you turn the dial, so one tap cannot quietly add fifteen minutes • Your workout names itself — Ladder, Countdown or Mountain — so a flat block and a climb do not sit in your list looking identical And nothing it creates is locked. Change any round, add one, delete one. YOUR COACH KEEPS UP The spoken cues now tell you what the next round is doing, not just which number it is: • "Building. 1:30 next." • "Longest round. 3:00 - biggest effort." • "Coming down. 1:00 next." • "Last round. Bring it home at Lvl 16." ALSO FIXED • Your ride is now backed up properly while the phone is locked. Screen off, propped on the bars, is how most people ride — and it was the one state where the safety net that restores an interrupted ride was not actually being written. Now it is • That backup is written in the background instead of on the screen's own thread, so it stays out of the way of your numbers THE REST OF THE WIZARD, IF YOU HAVE NOT MET IT Pick a shape and Simple Spin Pro writes the intervals: • Repeating — the classic work / recovery session • Progressive — every round a little harder than the last • Pyramid — climb to a peak, then come back down • Custom — build it interval by interval Every interval sets your Echelon's resistance the moment it begins. Training by watts? Simple Spin Pro reads your live cadence and works out the resistance needed to hold your target. Structured training built for your Echelon bike — no class subscription, no instructor, no schedule. Just the session you actually want to ride.
