Stopped Functioning on iPad

Apparently the app development is sliding somewhat. The iPad app no longer syncs with the cloud repo. So I’m concerned that Simplenote may be in a state of decline. Time to export and look at alternatives.

Was best, now no developer

There’s currently a login and password reset issue, and there’s no one manning the company to help.

Sync Issue

Today I experienced the app had trouble to synchronize with its server so that my notes were no longer updated. After clicking on the History button, a spinning icon appeared on the screen.

Basically abandoned on iOS!

The Android version still gets updates, including being able to choose your display font.

The iOS version hasn't received any real update in years, and it stopped working completely on 2026-10-19.

Amazing

So far so good all except for no current lock screen widget available, otherwise, worth it over iOS notes.
