Terrible
I accidentally disconnected my WiFi router and once everything was back up and running, the SimpliSafe app will not work no matter what I do. I’ve contacted customer service to troubleshoot the base and keypad and the agents barely know what they’re doing. While they’re telling me that my system is showing as active in their end, the app is not reflecting that. It’s all a mess. I give up with this company.

Oops—misleading information displayed
The app continues to display “There is a power outage” even after power has been restored. Apparently, the only way to clear this message is to conduct a physical power cycle restart and you must be at the physical location at the base station—there is no remote to fix this software “glitch.”
What happened
It started a little bit ago and I couldn’t get doorbell to connect to WiFi. Finally did resets. Now it says incorrect WiFi password. It’s the same password as my other 7 cameras and one I’ve been using for 7 years. So now I am stuck BC taking wall mount on and off I have to replace transformer plus camera doesn’t work. Then last night cameras were recording like crazy but none of the live feeds worked. All great WiFi strength but says disconnected from WiFi.

Delayed Alerts & Frustrating App
The motion detection is consistently delayed, making it unreliable when it matters most. Notifications often arrive well after the person has already left, defeating the purpose of a security system. On top of that, the app is slow, buggy, and frustrating to use. It frequently lags, takes too long to load live view, and the overall user experience is poor. I expected much better from a home security company. I wouldn’t recommend this app unless these issues are fixed.
