UPDATE: “PRIVACY MODE” that they suggest doesn’t allow the app to record sleep sessions, which means even you can’t see your own sleep data. It’s all or nothing now and that’s unacceptable.

Update for accessibility features

Both my wife and I have various orthopedic issues and since we got our Sleep Number bed, we have had much less pain and better sleep. I can’t say enough good things about this bed and our split king adjustable base gives us a variety of sleep positions based on our personal preferences. A great investment for sleep and health.

Leaky mattresses
After two years, one side started leaking so I bought a brand new king size, air bladder, and after three months it started leaking also
My Sleep Number Bed
This is the third sleep number bed I’ve had and used to preach to my friends on how I loved your bed and would never switch. Now, I’m 7 years into my third bed and have woken up to my side having been deflated. I called you customer service personnel only to get a young lady that can barely speak English. I had already gone through the trouble shooting portion texted to my phone. I tried to tell her that the app shows my side of the bed is still at 95 despite it having been deflated. I told her that the pump works fine on my wife’s side of the bed but is not working at all on my side. It should be running all the time to keep inflated but is not running at all on my side. My wife’s side works fine. I tried to explain to your employee that it’s not the air chamber or the hose because the pump would be running all the time to keep up with demand. The pump is not running at all on my side. Your employee is telling me that I will have to pay a lot of money to obtain a new pump. It was my understanding that your beds have a 20 year warranty which is what I was told every time I made a purchase. Apparently, this is no longer the case. Am I going to have to go to a mattress store and just purchase another bed? If this is the case, it will not be another sleep number bed. I don’t know what else to say other than I paid a lot of money for a defective product.

Best Sleep
I have owned my Sleep No. split-king bed for over 8 years now and have had the best sleep ever in my life. I love the individual settings for each mattress. It gives me total control over my personal sleep habits.
I would highly recommend a Sleep No. bed to anyone looking for a good nights rest.

You can’t opt out of data consent
All I use the app for is to set the bed’s firmness and if I don’t accept data consent, they log me out of the app. It’s so frustrating. Now basically the bed is a brick.
Has some issues
Controlling bed works well. Tracking sleep not so much. Many nights I just can’t get to sleep. Then I get recorded time to fall asleep 5 mins. I can lay there for two hours and it shows me sleeping. Other nights when I do sleep well it shows me restless. As a light sleeper I would be awake if I moved that much. Sleep score when I’m awake for hours I get a 90. Good nights a 70. Just glad I have a Fitbit that gets it right on.

Disappointed in new TOS
I went to adjust my bed before getting in tonight and was logged out. Apparently sleep number decided it is a requirement for me to share my data in order to use the app. I have no other way to control my bed. How is this even possible? Let me pay for the app to keep my privacy vs literally taking my ability away from using my bed from one night to the next. Should have bought a nectar.

New Rules from Sleep Number
It’s sucks that this wonderful bed company is making people share their sleep information. You can’t use the app unless you give the company the right to have your sleep information. This isn’t the reason people get this bed.
$12k Bed Bricked if You Won’t Share Health Data
It’s August 7. The new version of this app just came out, and it will not let me log in unless I consent to share my health data with Sleep Number. You’re required to share your height, weight, year of birth, gender, bio signals, HEALTH CONDITIONS, and TREATMENTS with this corporation to be allowed to control your $12,000 bed with your phone!

You can’t put your feet up and down, you can’t put your head up and down, can’t turn on the foot warmer if you have it either. The button on the side of the bed flattens it or returns it to where you were before. That’s it.
Maybe if you spend 100 bucks on a couple of remote control controls at the Sleep Number store, you’ll continue to get use out of the adjustable base, but I’m not gambling another nickel.

Hate it!!!
No matter what number I try, it’s the worst mattress ever! I was told by our sales person that my ideal number is 35. Not! I’ve tried everything from 20 to 100. Nothing really works.
And the mattress is so heavy, it’s hard to make the bed.
Plus it seems to adjust itself at random times.

Not happy with updates that force agreement to use the app
I just got into bed and want to adjust it and go to sleep. Up pops a terms change that forces an agreement way too long to read and understand when someone is sleepy. Shows that the company doesn’t care much about their users. This is so insulting to someone that has been using the app for years. Company’s very out of touch with customers. Only option was to agree to a lengthy legal document or disagree and sign out. Sign out and not be able to adjust the bed??? Seriously???

No sleep data some nights
Some nights, I think it has happened twice since I got the bed 2 months ago, I have either gotten no sleep report at all, or a faulty one.
One night I went to bed, slept until 4 AM, took my dog out and went back to bed. It only recorded from the time I went back to bed until I got up for the day, and gave me a sleep score of 21. Other times this has happened, it recorded the entire night.
The other time, it gave me no sleep score at all.
