Unnecessary

I wanted to like this, and the control it could provide for my heater, but I’m sick and tired of companies needing to store and harvest data about users. There’s no need for location data, no need for any collection of data or cloud services, as this heater has all the scheduling controls without the app. Simple Bluetooth would be enough. They’ve lost all perspective of how the customer gets value from their products.

Had this been a simple phone app with Bluetooth and an elegant interface for setting the temp schedule I’d have been happy, instead I deleted the app and went to the trouble of doing the schedule direct on the heater itself.

Massive fail. Zero stars if it was possible.

App updated!

I am loving the new app update. The grouping features work great for my Airbnb’s to be managed all under the same account. 🤩 plus now I can control my mini splits remotely too.
Our old mini split just had a remote that we lost all the time 🙄
We really love the heaters too. We have to save money where we can with our locations. They have been a game changer!

Brilliant Smart Heater & Mini-split App

I have used a lot of iOT apps to connect to smart devices and this one is flawless. I have connected to the smart heaters and now the smart mini-splits. Flawless connectivity every time. I know there were a lot of problems with this in the beginning, but they’ve worked out all those bugs.

Terrible App

Cumbersome, unintuitive, disjointed, barely usable app. Listen to the reviews! Get techs who actually use the product to design, test, and update the app.

App is complicated and unreliable

The app does not reflect the accurate state of the heater — I can’t count on it to show me whether the heater is running or whether the schedule is set. The schedule is very complicated to set up and apply.

Not great

Great heaters terrible app. I can’t add or change any schedules and if you turn the heat up it won’t automatically go back to a schedule. The old app worked better than this one

Awesome Heater, Awful App

I absolutely love the two heaters I have, but the app is awful. It crashes when I try to create a schedule. And the app is not intuitive to use. I now have to manually set the heaters each evening and morning, which is annoying when it could all be set up on the app. Please fix the app to not crash, and to easily be able to set up schedules. Your heaters are amazing!

App Crashes

The app is quite finicky. I’m glad to see the UI improve in the recent update, however my app crashes every time I try to edit my schedule. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. It’s quite frustrating.

Edit: Turns out if you have any letters with accents or an apostrophe in the schedule name, the app crashes when you try to save it.

Wow the app is bad

Even after getting back into my account, it told me that in order to verify I needed to use a five digit code that it would send me in an email to verify the account. so it did that I use the five digit code and it says oh I’m sorry the code needs to be at least five digits long.

Again I put the five digit code that it sent me into the form and it tells me that the code needed to be five digits long insane. At least the heater itself is amazing.

Latest update needs work

I’ve been trying to update the schedules for multiple heaters around my house and each time I change the time or temp, I hit “done” and the app crashes. I reopen the app and the new time or temp isn’t saved. Please send an updated app!

Made the app worse

This app is awful. And now they made it worse because “Groups” used to be able to control to heaters but now seems to assume you’re using a Mini Split even if you’re not. So you can’t just “set a temperature”, there is now a “cool to” option and WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN for two heaters?!? They are just “heaters” - they don’t cool. Why can’t I just set the heating temperature anymore??

App needs improving

The actual heaters are amazing……….if you can deal with the truly horrible app. I have one heater in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Once you understand the heat builds so you need to turn them on before you really need them, you’ll be thrilled. No hot dry air blowing at you, there’s no fan so the heat works its way out slowly and builds in your space. The app, which seems to be the only way to operate the smart heaters? Is truly aweful. To set a timer leaves you unsee if you’ve done it, setting up a schedule is not intuitive in the least, and things are really difficult to edit and alter because your edits don’t show as you do them. You have to close the app and reopen to see if your edits worked. Is this just me? Also, every edit you must hit the small check mark, which is not obvious.
This could be SOOO simple because there are only a very few things you can do. Turn heaters on and off. Create a schedule for automatic use. Set times for heater to turn on.

I don’t understand why such a fabulous product has such a terrible app to run it.

Super frustrating, but the heaters are absolutely wonderful.

Please hire someone to create a user friendly easy app. It would make such a massive difference.

Works great.

Works great for me. Not sure why the average rating is low. I have one unit, but can see myself buying a couple more to optimize comfort and savings based on area usage and occupancy.

Missing features, weak UI, not usable

Easy to connect devices. Many useful features. The products themselves are also very high quality. I highly recommend them.

Schedules not working

I followed eheat’s instructions for setting up schedules, but they don’t work. Won’t adjust the temp of my heaters at the time I specify. The app screens I see don’t match the help video that eheat shows. No option to enable or disable the schedule for a given heater even though I can configure it. Please fix. Otherwise working ok.

Schedule is totally broken

The schedule simply does not work. Or, it works for a while, then doesn’t work, who knows why. It’s completely random. So frustrating. And to top it off the app hasn’t been updated in 7 months! DO NOT BUY THIS

Great…after some effort

This is my second Envi heater, the first Smart one. I really like the heaters. While the app shows promise, it needs work…or better troubleshooting guidance. After downloading this app and creating my account, it was impossible to get the heater to connect to my WiFi. I tried many times, with numerous techniques to resolve the matter, but each time it failed. I’m pretty competent with technology but this puzzled me. Finally, I dug out an older android phone, connected to WiFi, downloaded the app and logged into my account. Then I paired the heater to my WiFi and it connected on the first attempt, painlessly. The heater immediately then appeared as active in the Envi app on my Apple devices. Since then, it was been stable and I find the interface to be intuitive and much easier to use than the controls on the heater. Based on my experience and other reviews, the app could use some work. The heaters are great and I highly recommend them.

Can’t connect and really don’t want to connect to server

It found the heater with Bluetooth once out of 5 times and failed to connect to WiFi at all. I really just wanted to have nicer interface to schedule. I really really don’t want to depend on their servers to adjust my home thermostat at home. I don’t want to see my heater’s status from France.
