Basic app
Does not tell you temperature of the bed. You just slide to cold or hot. The app you don’t know if you need to update because the fire ware in it just says fire ware update and it doesn’t do anything.
Horrible
So you spend $1200-$1300 on a product expecting it to be great, only to download the app and it looks like a 3rd grader designed it. Here’s all you can do in the app:
1. Set temperature with slider
2. Make the bed
3. Change light colors and toggle on/off
Configuration section is atrocious. Firmware unknown, cannot update firmware. No WiFi settings for Alex’s support, like the manual says. App version is v1.1 (2029).
Embarrassment, really.

Avoid this product
I wanted to give this a chance. I bought the duvet, and it showed up a few weeks later.
The Duvet stops inflating after just a few seconds and doesn't look anywhere close to a made bed. The motor randomly makes gurgling noises without input.
The app doesn't work AT ALL. Every few times I open it, it connects but the Make Bed button does not function. The other times, the app immediately crashes. This is on iOS 26.
I'm going to return this as soon as possible.

Outdated app
Basic App with No -use full functional features
The Smartduvet app feels outdated and lacks meaningful improvements. The interface is clunky, with a frustrating small sliding control instead of simple, intuitive buttons left and right up down. The app should clearly display heating and cooling levels for each side with better visual indicators. For a smart product, the app experience is surprisingly poor and long overdue for an update. There’s no real scheduling for the light—just a basic on/off switch. Continuous light on when there is no need in daytime.

Very little useful features
Doesn’t work with Alexa, can’t set a timer for it to turn on or off Smart Duvet or remember any presets. It’s bare minimum app to have the device function. With a little focus here it wouldn’t take much to make it competitive. Clearly it’s not a focus for the company and I don’t expect them to change after 4yrs.

Worst app
I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time I want to use the app cause it won’t connect right away. Why hasn’t this been fixed??
App is Horrible
This app is horrible. There is little functionality built in. “Works with Alexa” is totally false. Can’t do a firmware update. They need to spend a little money to develop the app out more. Cool product, horrible execution.
Not as advertised
The website states “Alexa Compatible”. However, support states only for Android, Apple support coming soon. Well, waiting 18 months now, and I and still waiting and the manufacturer won’t say when it will be ready so I assume they have abandoned any future development.
Easy and simple
Had my Smartduvet for a few years now and this new app is great!
Works great!
Amazing Product, ill never make my bed again and my wife is finally happy with our bed temperature!
