Fixes night sweats
The Chilipad has been my hack for surviving night sweats. I no longer wake up every night at 4am and my sleep monitor says I’m sleeping more deeply. Thank you Chilipad!
Love
I love my chili pad! I hate going out of town because I miss it so much!
Chilipad
I have owned the pad for little over a year. Overall I love it and can’t imagine sleeping without it. Two negatives are 1) the size. It’s larger so may not fit under your bed. 2) within first year the connector didn’t fit well and had to replace the mattress. Other than that it’s perfect t.
Really needs updates
I’m writing this after trying my Chillipad 2.0 for the first night and being absolutely COOKED ALIVE by the “Warm Awake” feature. It sounded like a great idea last night because I usually wake up cold, but it’s more like a “hot awake” than a “warm awake”! You’d think you could customize the warm awake temperature, but it literally gives you no other option than “HIGH” or “OFF” which is a real shame because “HIGH” is uncomfortably HOT!
Update: The closest workaround I can find is to “add adjustment” to the REM schedule for 5 minutes before the wake up time, but then you have to turn the actual warm awake feature off.
Also the Chillipad 2.0 was advertised as having in-bed detection. The online guides say that the remote unit should have a setting for “radar”, but on the Remote’s firmware version 1.11.310, it’s not visible. I also don’t see any mention of the feature in the app. What’s up with that? I was also generally hoping that the Chillipad could log the time I hit the bed with Apple Health even if it doesn’t capture all the biometrics. Just knowing what time I hit the bed and logging that over time in Apple Health would be a huge step forward in tracking my sleep goals. The iPhone estimates the time you started sleeping by the time you put down your phone, but I wanna know what time I hit the bed.

Super happy with the sleep I get with my Chilipad. Easy to use , intuitive app, and very comfortable. 6 out of 5 stars.
