Booking issues
Requiring membership is really crazy, too, because apparently there IS a way to book without membership, but it’s unclear what that is, and that seems shady and predatory to force membership on some users and not others. Not everyone wants a subscription service.
The app’s functionality when it comes to modifying a visit leaves a lot to be desired, too. I went to change a visit more than 12 hours before the allotted time, and the app would not allow me to save changes, even after multiple times force closing the app and starting over. Reached out to customer support and heard nothing back. I ended up having to cancel the visit altogether. I like the idea and the actual spots I’ve visited have been great for me and my dog. The app though? Frustrating and could use some work.

We understand that the membership model, credits, and pricing can feel confusing at first. Memberships include prepaid credits that can be used toward bookings, while hosts set their own prices, so credits are applied to the cost of each visit. We know that's different from a traditional pay-per-visit model, and feedback like yours helps us identify where we can make the experience clearer. Guests can also book certain spots without a membership, including new spots with five or fewer reviews, and we recognize that we can do a better job explaining those options within the app. We're also sorry to hear you ran into issues modifying your visit and that you didn't receive a timely response from Support. Lifesaver
Sniffspot provides that off-leash freedom and exercise our dogs need. It is absolutely the best invention ever, in my opinion.
We are in the San Francisco-Daly City area so we book regularly at smaller backyards/spaces due to the urban nature of where we live, but on occasion we choose further away Sniffspots where we can explore larger and more exciting places like Petaluma, Occidental, Los Altos Hills, Woodside, and other areas where folks offer their spacious land for doggies to play.
