Doesn’t work
Was hopeful this would work as I have sleep apnea when I sleep on my back but not my side. Needed to monitor sleeping in my side. Didn’t work at all. Buyer beware
The way to learn to side-sleep
I snore when I sleep on my back. Using this App I’m training myself to sleep on my side.
The app works perfectly for this. I wear a travel money belt at night to hold the phone.
I sleep so much better with this App. If you need to sleep on your side this app is the most cost effective way to learn.
I use vibration with no noise and make me roll onto my side without disturbing my partner.

No Apple Watch compatibility that I can tell
Very disappointed that I paid for this app. I can not in any way interact with the app on my Apple Watch. Watch does not even see the app. I bought this app under the impression that you could wear the watch as the position monitor and receive the undesirable position alarms on watch. So far as I can tell this is not the case!

Really great
Apnea is worst when sleeping on your back.
This app trained me in only a few nights to sleep on my side. My CPAP sleep score became 99 out of 100 as a result.
Really great idea. Position monitoring devices cost about $400. This app does the job.
Must leave somnopose as top program. Don't lock the iPhone. (don’t push side button when operating the app). And cover the proximity sensor (barely visible round dot next to iPhone receiver).
The app allowed was export now so I’m able to compare positions with Apnea data.
Very good.

Apnea aid
Great for avoiding sleeping on your back if you have apnea.
Well designed and easy to use
SomnoPose is well designed and easy to use. I was able to collect data at home over several weeks that gave more insight into a diagnosis of sleep apnea. This was a valuable supplement to a one night study in a sleep clinic. It's important to put your phone or iPod into airplane mode and reduce screen brightness while using this app, so as not to run down the battery overnight, but this is well documented.

Great Program, Responsive Developer
This is a really well thought out and implemented program. It will be useful to anyone who has a snoring problem from sleeping on his or her back. The information provided could be very important in the evaluation of sleep problems. The developer is very responsive to his customers; I wrote to him and made a suggestion and he responded almost immediately.

Easy to use, provides great information
RePose was a great way for me to get basic information on sleep position, as I am someone who suffers from periodic neck pain. This app is easy to use, there's great information within the app and on the Proximal Box website to get you started. I was definitely a bit skeptical of the ease and comfort of wearing my ipod touch, but it was far simpler than expected. As long as you aren't a stomach sleeper, wearing your ipod or iphone should be pretty easy. The ipod fit in my money belt perfectly. I put it on, got the ipod set up with RePose, and went to sleep. In the morning I had a really nice little graph showing how I changed position during the night, and a summary of total time on each side and on my back. I did not use the alert feature since I really just wanted the information, so cannot comment on that, though the gradual increase in alarm volume seems like a great feature to help people change their sleep behavior. Definitely recommended for anyone with sleep problems, or for people who are just curious about how they sleep.
