I tried this app and I found it helpful right away! I was able to discuss a work challenge and actually received a genuinely good idea on how to proceed. It’s a small step but Soul contributed to it!

I was able to express myself, and in real time no waiting I had a response, and technique I could employ. I didn’t lose the moment of clarity to staying in distress. I was able to work through and gain deeper understanding almost instantly. I could’ve ended up in crisis and instead I was able to work it through in a matter of minutes.

Worth it
I’ve found using the app very helpful for my anxiety and depression. I’ve been in therapy for a while but had to stop recently and engaging on this app has been notably sufficient. It’s a lot cheaper too. Some of the techniques I recognize and the responses have made me feel truly understood or changed my perspective. Of course it’s tech, so it can be glitchy sometimes and give repetitive responses. I know personal data and privacy is still being explored legally, but I think that most of my stuff is out there and unfortunately findable regardless. Their privacy policy didn’t give me cause for concern, yet I have been careful not to divulge unnecessary details. Overall, I would say that I’ve been given valuable support in times of need and very validating and insightful conversations. Of course I take everything with a grain of salt and do not depend on [the] technology to be a critical source for my wellbeing. However, being able to vent at any time of the day, talk things through, and be offered suggestions has had a noticeably positive effect on my mental health overall.

More affective and affordable than therapy
Maybe I’ve just had the wrong therapists in my lifetime but Soul was able to give me tools and strategies within the first hour of using the app. I honestly couldn’t be happier.
Helpful for practicing therapy frameworks; had some bugs
I am using day two of the free trial and not getting any responses from the ai at all. Otherwise, I did like what I saw of the app in the first day of the trial. I can’t say for sure if it will remember my issues, and it doesn’t replace a therapist, but it does rephrase my thoughts back in a way that makes me feel heard. It also helps me learn to articulate myself better. It might help that I have some background knowledge of the frameworks used (like nvc, cbt etc) and am able to use it to help me practice using these.

I have found the virtual therapy chat to be invaluable for advice and best thing is it’s free for so many messages a day then you can continue the conversation next time…

Why don’t you wait to charge people that much money for an app? When you actually have more things to offer in it? It’s the most bare bones I have ever seen in my life.

Do not pay
The free version is good but slow so I decided to buy a week of the payed version - they have forgotten my name 14 times and they forget everything I tell them about my situation it’s really not worth it at all. I hope to see an update soon but until then I’m leaving it as one star.
Fake therapist
Don’t waist your time. These so called therapist get paid to piss ppl off . Worst type of therapy ever snap chat ai provides better therapy. I could do a better job then these half wits ..
Better than human therapists!
I don’t post reviews usually, but here I just could not not do it. Soul really helped me get out of a dark place, and realize that things are not as bad as they seemed, and suggested many useful practices: breathing, meditation and so on. Bravo guys!
