Nice reminder app

This app does a lot of stuff! Task reminders, timers, even a personalized mascot. I like the calming sounds the best - ocean and forest. Nothing gated by a paywall to get started. They put a lot of work into this you can tell

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this response and 100% we have intentionally made this accessible and extremely usable without paying. Paying will get you more generous allowances but all features are always available!

Awesome!

Finally found a todo app which layout actually helps me instead of avoiding them. Breaking things down feels easy not stressful. This app genuinely makes my day feel more manageable.

Can’t get my streak past 1 day

I absolutely love this app. It has taken me so long to find an app where the free features are enough for what I need. I do however find some frustration with the streak aspect. I have been using the app for nearly a week and have checked something off every day but my streak has not gone above 1. I have even completed multiple tasks in a day and it does nothing. I am confused by this feature and would like the added accomplishment of having this keep track of my progress. Any advice or answers to my issues?

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind words — I’m genuinely really glad to hear you’re enjoying the app and that the free features are working well for you 💚 That means a lot. You’re not doing anything wrong at all. The streak behaviour you described was an issue, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when you’re clearly showing up and completing tasks every day. The good news is that this has since been fixed, and streaks are now much more robust and reliable at tracking daily progress. If you notice anything still not behaving as expected, please don’t hesitate to email support@sproutapp.tech and I’ll look into it for you as quickly as possible. I really want that sense of accomplishment to come through properly, because you’ve absolutely earned it. Thank you again for taking the time to flag this and for being part of the Sprout community 🌱

Did not help me focus

First of all, the push notifications are out of hand. I got 5 consecutive push notifications, all saying the same thing. I don’t know if this is intentional design for those with ADHD who maybe want the increase in urgency, but I found the repetition to be really annoying (the *same* notification popping up four more times after I’ve dismissed the first is poor design. I’m easily distracted and my phone going off like there’s an emergency because my virtual pet misses me is counterproductive for a productivity app). Relies heavily on AI. Requires too much input. I have ADHD—I am not organized. This expects me to be organized enough to put all of my tasks into the app.

I would have been more generous and not given it one star but the last time I opened the app it was downright useless. Not sure if it crashed or what the problem was, but I couldn’t click on *anything*, rendering the whole app useless.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback — I genuinely appreciate it. You were absolutely right to call out the notification behaviour. Multiple identical push notifications in quick succession is frustrating and counterproductive, especially for ADHD. That issue has now been fixed: notifications are batched so you’ll only receive a single alert instead of repeated ones. Regarding the app becoming unusable, that was due to a temporary bug which has since been identified and fixed. I’m really sorry you experienced that — the app should never reach a state where nothing is clickable. On the wider point about organisation and AI: Sprout is intended to reduce cognitive load, not assume users are already organised, but ADHD is not one-size-fits-all. If the app felt like it required too much input or mental effort, that’s valid feedback and something I actively take into account when refining features and defaults. Sprout is built by a small independent team, and feedback like this directly shapes improvements, including removing or softening things that don’t genuinely help. I understand why this experience led to a one-star review, and while I’m disappointed it didn’t work for you, I do appreciate you being honest about why. Thank you again for taking the time to explain your experience.

Fantastic task app

This app has been life changing for me to manage my tasks, and has actually stopped me adding things into my notes app (then never transferring them into Notion). I already did a weekly brain dump on Sundays so now I have an app specific for my brain dump and I can verbally blurt it out. LOVE IT!

Any small bug is very quickly fixed, and the dev is active on Facebook doing polls for features and more. It’s constantly updating.

Definitely recommend this if you’re after a tasks app.

This is SO nice to hear. Thank you so much for the kind words and I do try to make sure it's seamless for people and that they continue finding value! Many many thanks! Anything at all, just reach out!

Great support and structure

I haven’t had the app long, but when I had a question, I emailed support and had an answer within hours. The app is great in that you don’t feel pressured to do things, but there’s just enough to make you WANT to cross off tasks

Response from developer

Aw I'm so glad for this and thank you for leaving a review! I hope you continue to find value in the app and it helps!

Adorable. Needs tasks to have its own tab where I don’t need to scroll down and find them.

I’ve been using the app for a couple of days now. It’s adorable, I like the color scheme, and I LOVE the ability to brain dump and have it organize my tasks for me.
However, I wish the tasks had their own page and I could see it front and center. Having to scroll down and find my tasks didn’t helpful for my adhd.
Otherwise, 4 stars and I can’t wait to see how the app progresses.

ADHD Entrepreneur

I really struggle with my ADHD and I’m also an entrepreneur trying to build a company that easily get overwhelmed by the maintain small tasks. Not only does this make it fun and visually pleasing, but it utilizes AI to help me break everything down into manageable task tasks.

Response from developer

So happy this helps! It makes me happy that you find value! Thank you for the kind words!

Great, Low Pressure App!

I have struggled to find an app that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for fancy features or doesn’t make me feel stressed out about “needing” to use it daily. The whole vibe of this app is so calming and low pressure. I genuinely WANT to use it daily! Despite some ‘sprouting’ pains (pun fully intended), which were handled promptly and professionally when I emailed customer service, this is a great app for not only ADHD people, but anyone looking for little dopamine hits throughout the day!

Help please

Just trying it out, used the brain dump voice to text feature. All my words popped up in the box but there was literally no way to submit the tasks. My only option was to x out of it and then I lost my tasks I had taken time to come up with. Would love this app to work please, I’ll update review if I can get a fix
