Interface is nice, customer service isn’t

Their cancellation policy is terrible. And they never even inquire about why you want to cancel, just say you can’t.

I have given this app and the web version so many chances and it just won’t let me schedule or send out a single post. I keep getting error messages.

Great App, Very Helpful

Sprout has been great for me and my team. It’s allowed us to manage multiple social profiles all at once across both the web and mobile apps.

Hootsuite is better

I have a very long list of the things that I dislike about sprout, but unfortunately, due to their shady and unethical customer service, they have us locked into ANOTHER year with them. Their subscription process is scammy and the lack of capabilities force me to have to post organically half the time anyway.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask me. Been working with sprout for a few years and was really excited to make the switch but now I have to wait another year. It’ll be the longest year.

App works well!

Works well for what I need!

Overall good!

Sprout has been super helpful to my business. I wish they would spend a little more time cleaning up bugs, but overall, it does what it’s supposed to do.

Run Away! Don’t Use

WARNING! I have used every social media manager under the sun. Been doing this 10+ years and I have never been more disgusted with a software or their team ever. Been using Sprout just over a year and it’s awful. Very EXPENSIVE. Save yourself the heartache and money go find a different social manager.

Lontime user, very disspointed.

I've been with Sprout for 5 years and this company is in a slow decline. I used to love this software and thought they we're one of the best. The price is exorbitant and the customer service is slow and unresponsive. I'm a small business owner who has built my career on Sprout and sadly I am leaving this year.

Sm Biz Owner

I was really looking forward to trying this out, but it won’t recognize my Gmail account that was set up for my business as legitimate. I couldn’t even get past the screen or contact anybody to discuss. Disappointed.

why do i have to pay before even seeing the app such a scam

Needs work

Missing some key features in the app - like the ability to macro, translate comments/messages and change sentiment on a post

Emojis aren’t up to date

I’m an Apple user and Would love if the emojis were up to date with the most recent iOS. Currently having to google emojis and copy and pasting it, which is a crazy hassle for something so minute. Thanks!

Improvements

There are not enough characters allowed. I do not have enough space to write a good caption. We should also be allowed to post more than 4 pictures when using the app, as well as being able to post videos and pictures in the same post.

Beware: Hidden Cancelation Stipulations for Overpriced Service

I’m very disappointed in Sprout Social. We’ve been faithful customers for a year, contributing $350 a month for 12-months for our church’s social media scheduling. We recently had an independent contractor support us during our Advent campaign in which she recommended using Later ($360 for the year!) which is much more cost effective and allows us to use our funds toward missions and outreach initiatives. When we reached out before our renewal date, we were told they already begun processing our renewal since we didn’t let them know 30 days before (we were not asked to sign an authorization to process this renewal). Despite pleas for a collaborative solution, we’re being continuously told we did not reach out 30 days prior (during Christmas, when our focuses were intentionally not on budget until 1/01). This will result in losing $4200 we don’t have budgeted for a service we won’t use. Please beware of Sprout! This is discouraging and deceptive communication that communicates they’re only in it for the money and not for the opportunity to support businesses, especially local nonprofits.

Great for what I use it for

As a streamer and content creator the app does exactly what I need it to. I can use the mobile publisher flow to share pics to multiple social profiles. Specifically I can easily add music to my images posted to instagram! 🎶🎸 Then I can generate reports on the go to see how well my vinyl collection posts are being engaged with!

Mobile app still a way to go

Love the software but the Mobile app isn’t quite there yet imo. It’s still difficult to navigate and there’s no client facing app for approvals which would make it way easier for clients to approve content on the go.

Convenient app while on the go, wish it had all web features, but still very good
