Scam
I’ve had it take money from me it shouldn’t and cashed a check that wasn’t signed and cashed it twice. It’s more trouble then it’s worth I hate this app once every is fixed I’m deleting it permanently. They are heading straight into lawsuit territory…not from me though I’m broke now thanks spruce. Can I give 0 stars?

Scam bank.
Refuse to follow nys law on releasing funds for deposit. They are terrible customer support in India. Rude and laughed at me when they say they will hold my deposit for 2 weeks, illegal. Reporting to all agencies…they are not authorized to hold funds. Two weeks I haven’t received. They are awful! Don’t trust with yoir money!

Increase the support in app bit more and customize the app bit more; add dark mode and it’s #1. Great app but I got $20 snatched from me and it’s a deposit late on coming.

Card turned off
Twice in the last three weeks my cards have been turned off and I’m sent new ones. No warnings or notifications, no one can tell me why other than “possible foul charges”. Both times I have been in a checkout and had to cancel my order to call spruce, this really aggravates me. I have opened a new account and will no longer use spruce.

Horrible
It delays any checks for over a week. Customer service isn’t helpful since it’s a third party. They’re also rude. It will overdraft you then charge a fee. It has people fluffing it so you’ll join. Don’t fall for it!

Poor customer service
My Spruce account had been hacked for more than 1700 dollars! I made dispute with Spruce and they only refunded my account for 600 dollars! After I had to go back and forth with them about proving that the transactions weren’t me!

Great Savings tool
Love that I can save with a higher interest rate. My only disappointment is that transferring out of the savings to an external acct via the spending acct has a monthly limit. If I save for a major purchase, I don’t like to be limited to $2500 a month
Easy banking app
Very easy to use and clean design. I can transfer money, deposit checks, and track spending without issues. Love P2P feature. The notifications are fast, and the app feels secure. Customer support was also helpful.
