I am a teen of 14 years old at work in concessions for little league baseball and this app manages my shifts, but my parents placed 18+ app restrictions on me and when the apps age requirement got changed, it made it so that I could not do my job and manage it please change it back to at least 13+ or 4+

Don’t get me wrong it’s a great app but I wish there was an option to input my weekly schedule myself independent from my shop owner/manager. I also would live a way of clocking in and out on the app.

Basic
Square is extremely basic and does not meet business requirements in the fields of tracking staff availability, calendars and scheduling. It is very basic for menu ordering but glitches or freezes frequently

Marking Availability is too complicated
Marking Availability is too complicated for staff. And you have to do week by week, instead of dates. And time off request takes too long to add anything.
Lacking the most basic features
You somehow don’t have the option to sync your schedule with your calendar… I quite liked the POS system but the app has been an absolute downgrade from 7shifts, which we switched from. I don’t think we’d have made the switch if we knew this beforehand.
By far the easiest way to do payroll that I’ve experienced in 35 years owning my costume store.
The square team and the app are excellent I’ve used them for over 5 years.
Blue Notifications Dot Won’t Go Away
I’ve tried everything from updating the app, deleting and reinstalling and seeking support help and the stupid blue dot that says I have a notification won’t go away.

I use this as a HVAC service technician. Works well, but because I am out of cell service often I fine myself unable to clock in. I have one of those jobs that is never in the same location or on the same schedule.
