What's New in SquareKeeper Works
2.0.0
October 26, 2026
Getting started is easier. A new company now gets a short, step-by-step setup: your language, your name, your company details, the kind of work you do, your logo and report color, your office team, a join code for your crew, and your first project. Skip any step, or tap Finish later and pick up where you left off. Owners can run or review it anytime from Company setup in Company info. Choosing your report color is easier too: tap a swatch or pick a custom color. Give your office their own logins. Invite people by name and email from Office team in your account menu. Office logins can handle projects, reports, quotes, checklists, clients and crew, and they are included on every plan. Short tours show you around the app the first time you open this version, and your account menu and the Lists tab have quick tours of their own. Skip any tour, or replay it anytime: Take the tour again and Tour this menu are in your account menu, and Tour this page is at the bottom of Lists. Your crew gets a short tour too, and can replay it from the gear. Clients is now your client list. Add each company or individual you work for, with their address, notes that never appear on a report or quote, and the people you deal with there, each with an optional title and one of them the primary contact. Call, Text or Email any contact with one tap from the client's page, which also lists that client's projects. If a client uses SquareKeeper Property, connect them from their page: enter the code they sent you or create a code for them, and your reports go straight into their records. Filling in a project or quote is quicker: start typing a client's name and pick from the clients you already have to fill in their details. Forms are clearer too: required fields are marked, and every field stands out from the page in light and dark mode.
