Terrible for researching routes
This app tries to be too smart and limits you to things near you right now. It is very difficult to just check a timetable for a bus you want to catch in the future from a different location. Unfortunately this is the only way to get a full list of the stops for the Peak Sightseer buses so it was very difficult to plan my day in the peak district.

No payments accepted
No matter when method we tried, every payment type could not be processed by the app. We literally cannot get a bus ticket and Stagecoach has zero support available.
Useless
The drivers don’t stop and its an hour in the sun until the next bus. Stagecoach think they treat people like this simply because theres no competition for them to worry about.
“What are they gonna do? Get a different bus?! Haha” they have a monopoly and think they can just not do their jobs. Pathetic. I pray your company faces financial hardship because you only have a simple task: pick. Up. Passengers.

Very misleading
The bus shows up with the bus coming up saying it will be late but end up coming on time so I have missed the bus a few times. Then sometimes it doesn’t show the bus will be cancelled up until the very last minute before your bus is expected to come

Updated the app which in theory has made it harder to purchase tickets the app doesn’t work half the time like tickets not downloading or network issues the tracker doesn’t work half the time will tell you bus is in one location when it will be somewhere else when busses are cancelled won’t tell you on app but are meant to be real live updates

the bus times
i think for one the bus times are normally accurate but every so often the bus will come so early that i cannot get to school on time, this morning for e.g i got to the bus stop at 8:09 a minute early and the bus had already flown past, it only had just turned 8:09. and the bus was expected to come at 8:12 now im sat waiting at the bus and i’ll have to explain to my teachers why I was late. thank you

Stagecoach bus
This app is much improved from what it once was very good. But there is one thing I would like to see, if possible a quicker update as to where the bus is.
The folks who design it don’t use buses
I’ll never understand why travel app developers need a long splashscreen animation on startup. I hate when I’m rushing to pull-up my ticket and I have to wait for the branding to finish announcing itself.
And it wouldn’t be so bad if it was reliable. The bus arrival times are way out, and the ticket purchasing screen freezes all the time.
Like, the departure times are *hours* out. There aren’t any live updates or anything. You may as well just not look.
And oh my god, the ads for Amazon Prime music… please, just let me buy and use a ticket in peace…
EDIT: And now Rakuten ads! I genuinely don’t know if the management of Stagecoach understand that we need to use this app in a hurry, and drivers won’t wait around while we “take advantage of amazing offers”. We just need the sodding ticket.

Worse than Useless
This is basically a timetable and the booklet gives you that information. Only intermittent real time info and never when you need it. Your bus disappears off the list after its time has come up. You end up wait and waiting. Just reviewing this after another wait. Worse than useless!

It’s a meh app which constantly logs me out, can’t remember my regular routs, send me in circles when I’m looking for something. I know I’m not the most technologically savvy but at least make the qr codes on the buses work properly
This app is a joke
If the bus is going to be on time then don’t tell me that it is going to be late. This isn’t a one off thing, this has happened on over 10 occasions and I’m always late because of it. On the contrary, I also don’t fancy waiting an extra 10 minutes at the bus stop in sweltering heat or the pouring rain because you decided to tell me the bus was going to be early, only for it to be embarrassingly late. Furthermore, if you are going to change the bus route temporarily, at least put some information or a reminder on the app instead of letting me stand there confused for ages wondering why the bus isn’t coming, only to realise it never was. This app is run by a bunch of toddlers, the amount of times it has let me down is diabolical. Sort your app out stagecoach.

Useless
App tells me my bus is at 8:56 and will be in time to my connection at 9.14, I get to the bus stop at 8:53 and then go to track the bus and it says it left at 8:52, The next one was 15 minutes later, I then missed my connection and was an hour late to work. Just completely unreliable.
Often worse than useless.
Stagecoach is so concerned we might (golly) try and fiddle a 6 quid fair that they spend more time blocking that than making the app do what it’s supposed to do.

And it where are all the disclosures about Middleware? I’ve never ever seen a major app that doesn’t show any licenses it has obtained and that includes FOSS, MIT, BSD and many other licences.

Buses needs to be faster
Your buses needs to be faster because my daughter went to drama club and it was slatyford one that was laste she stood there door 1 hour until a coach lane campus came like you need to improve the speed so bad need work on your buses of speed there’s a thinderstorm and naearly got stuck because your busese are so slow

I have missed the bus on multiple occasions because nine times out of ten my bus hasn’t shown itself on the map meaning I don’t have a clue for where it is

Updated app with misinformation and need to do better!
1. The app no longer gives you the time saving opportunity to go straight into live departures in your area. Instead having to type in your departures and destination. Ok so that’s not too much trouble but…
2. when choosing your locations the app brings up loads of additional addresses of the whole area which most are totally immaterial to your enquiry so forces you to scroll through reams of addresses which are probably not even registered bus stops until you might find your stop! BUT NOT GUARANTEED TO!
3.The addresses that once were used on the old app and are official bus stops, many are not registered and any version of the address or bus stop you may try to enter into the app simply does not recognise it! SOO FRUSTRATING!
4. The times of departure registered on the app often does NOT match the BUS DRIVERS TIMETABLE!!! So often when tight for time you find out to your dismay bus has gone!
5. Have noticed more than a few times bus’s are not shown on the app as due and suddenly they appear! And checked it’s not a late running service either. They are simply missing off the timetable!

Hit or miss
One day the app works fine then the other it doesn’t, buses barely get tracked and sometimes don’t even show up.

they won’t let me buy mobile tickets and i can’t pay on the bus because for some reason my card is banned from paying for stagecoach tickets which i find weird
