It said it was cancelled
It said it was cancelled so then I gave up on it and then I opened the app again about 10 minutes later and it said it was completely fine and now when people ask me why I couldn’t get on the bus, I had to say it said it was cancelled and they won’t believe me.

Ads pop up after buying tickets
Ridiculously, I get ads for men’s underwear that fill up the screen immediately after buying tickets, saying I have special offers. Frankly I don’t care about buying underwear or anything else when I’m just trying to get a busy ticket. Also, this makes things difficult if I’m buying a ticket right before getting on the bus and there’s a time crunch. It seems I can’t even escape ads on an OFFICIAL BUS APP. There is no place for ads here, the only reason I continue to use stagecoach at all after this disrespect towards their customers is because they’re the only ones available.

Terrible Design
Probably the worst travel app i’ve ever used, why it feels the need to be this bad i have no idea, don’t bother just get a first bus i beg.

Total rubbish. Bus never comes on time and when it does there’s 2 behind it. Can’t believe we have to pay for this service
U16s free tickets
The bus driver gave me a free bus ticket because I was under 16 on my ride to my football training, this is beneficial for people such ad parents who struggle to pay for children’s transportation. It’s only the 6 week holidays but I hope stagecoach can do this after the holidays for children who need to take the bus to school.my favourite bus service

Rubbish information
Never gives right information. App said our bus due at 17:40 was expected at 18:12 in fact turned up at 17:38 so we missed it as was last bus of day. Tried phoning stagecoach but all you get now is automated answers telling to check ap or website.
Great Application
Got this app in 2025 to help me get on buses around Scotland, and it’s done its job, the UI is great, no glitches or bugs from as far as I can see, and it’s a fantastic utility.

Accidental overcharge
When purchasing a ticket on the app, the new ticket screen will pop up but will not always load. When the app first had this ticket update, myself and a few friends assumed the ticket didn’t load so we crossed out the unloaded ticket and reactivated another ticket. By then x2 tickets would be activated and no way to compensate due to a software delay. Overtime I assumed it would be fixed but the issue still remains. Please allow a pop up on the screen before claiming more than one ticket, or make it easier to make accidental claims.

Under 16 free bus travel = SCAM
It’s fake I walked 20 mins to then have the driver drive past me and then had to wait and extra 30 mins just for him to say I need an adult even though that’s for under 11 and I’m clearly older than 11 what a scam

Update after update and the bus tracker still doesn’t work and the journey planner still doesn’t work, hopeless app.
Such an unreliable service
Service unreliable and app unreliable, buses seem to “drop off” and when due comes up with cancelled. Get a grip stagecoach management you’re infuriating
Terrible for researching routes
This app tries to be too smart and limits you to things near you right now. It is very difficult to just check a timetable for a bus you want to catch in the future from a different location. Unfortunately this is the only way to get a full list of the stops for the Peak Sightseer buses so it was very difficult to plan my day in the peak district.

Incompetent
Unfortunately Stagecoach is an incompetent company that doesn’t inform customers when bus stops are unavailable and fail to provide help on which bus stops in available like the ones for Chester Park & Ride. All they are bothered about is letting people know kids can use the bus for free in August. I suggest Stagecoach get off their backsides and put their priorities right! Stagecoach is a disgrace! 🤡.

Bus Tracking Failure
The tracking has not worked at all now for 7 months…utterly useless
Can’t purchase tickets in the app comes back as declined
The tracker invariably doesn’t work; the bus is often cancelled with no explanation as to why; prices continually go up. There’s no way to purchase a ticket now in the app since it’s been updated. It just comes back as declined no matter how you choose to pay. The bus service itself is unreliable. The bus drivers are often rude and unhelpful. Stagecoach seriously needs to have a rival because at the moment they are terrible!

Why bother
Literally a pile of poo. The line tracking rarely works. The buses that are cancelled, which is often, just disappear, no notice or warning. Stagecoach itself as a company is utter rubbish and it’s obvious by the lack of quality in their app. It’s actually better to get to the bus stop and wait cos they don’t match the times on the app
