No Pre-booking
Latest app version has removed the ability to 'book for later' - the date & time options appear but no schedule button. Previous version worked fine, this one is a real pain in the boot !
App is ok but the process is rubbish
The app works well, but despite booking a taxi a day in advance, a driver was not assigned until after it was supposed to have arrived, which made using the app and booking in advance a total waste of time. Would not recommend.
DO NOT USE
Appalling app, appalling taxi company. Even if you book the night before they still turn up 30 minutes late. If you are looking for a reliable taxi service look elsewhere
HORRIBLE
This is a horrible service they cancelled on us 3 times and then gave us a horrible driver and tried to charge us for all of them, when we tried ringing them they were sassy and rude and not helpful at all , if I could give zero stars I would NEVER ORDER FROM THEN
Can’t use card anymore?
What’s happened to the app? My credit card details have been removed and there’s no way to add them back in. Not everyone carries cash and therefore this issue is a pain in the neck. Please sort it out.
What happened to the pay by card
Tried using the app last week and wouldn't let me pay by card. In the end we had to use Uber. Sort it out Stars.
Very poor service
After waiting a very long time they cancelled the booking with no reason given. Not worth the effort trying this app.

Great little app. Works nicely and can see the car is coming. With the ability to call the driver too. I like it.

It's a good app and functional. Let's you know what you need when you've ordered your cab.
The limitations come when trying to amend your settings, if you change your phone number you can't change it in the app. Fundamental flaw. Change your number and you can't use the app. Try to register again it won't let you as email already in use. Sort it out please. It's not hard.

Brilliant service and app
I have been using start cars since we opened the doors at Verdo 3 years ago for my self and for our customers. The service is always quick and friendly. The app has made everything 10 times Easyier and quicker with no issues, Highly recommended.

Great handy app, makes catching taxis easy
Brilliant app, highly recommended for star taxis in Birmingham.
Good functional app
I have been using this app for a whole now and have found it to be quite solid. Occasionally the gps for pick up is a bit flakey but is easily adjusted in app, and the notifications can be inconsistent. However these are very small issues, the key aspects work, able to book cabs and pay trouble free, track cabs that have been dispatched, all the normal info to id your car etc have all been seamless.

Rarely a problem getting a taxi
Excellent app to order my taxi, able to monitor where my taxi. The app lets me pay by credit card and I know how much the taxi will cost before it arrives.
Excellent App
I don't write reviews but felt that the new Star Car App was worth the effort. I am very impressed with the app it's so easy to use no queueing on the phones and you can track your taxi from start to finish. A perfect app on an already good service keep up the good work.

Improved
This app has improved markedly since the first version. Tracking car feature is very useful and updates every few seconds. It also gives you the driver name and reg plate for safety. Helps make Star Cars a more personalised service and gives accurate pricing. Keep up the good work Star!
Fast and Accurate
With recent updates the app has gotten very precise at tracking your location via your phone, so you don't need to know where you are to use it! When the car is dispatched you have the ability to track it and know exactly what car it is and who's driving. With the added feature of paying on the app via card if preferred, you don't even need to have cash on you! A very useful taxi app!

Fantastic app from a well known taxi firm
I have been using star cars now for 10+ years and this app shows that they are keeping up with new innovations. The app allows me to order a cab through my GPS location, get a fare estimate and even track the driver when he's on the way.
This app has made ordering and tracking much more efficient and I look forward to using it ever time I need a taxi.
