About

If you're doing vestibular rehab — gaze (VOR) drills, habituation, balance work — you've probably hit the same wall everyone does: the exercise is supposed to make you a little dizzy, but not too dizzy, and nobody's in the room to tell you which side of that line you're on. Steadwise is the instrument for that. You set your starting point, and it holds your target range, paces each rep, times your recovery, and tells you calmly when to ease off — so you can do your exercises without doing the mental math while your head is moving. WHAT IT DOES • Sets a baseline before each session and holds your personal range (your "dose"), so you're not guessing. • Paces each rep with a calm spoken or visual cue — go only as fast as the target stays clear; you can slow it down anytime. • Watches your range and eases you off before you overdo it. Overdoing it is the thing to avoid, and Steadwise treats that as the point. • Times your recovery back to baseline, so you know the session settled. • Eases your difficulty up over weeks when you're ready — and steps it back, calmly, after a flare. A flare-up is an expected part of recovery, not a failure. • Keeps a private record of how you're trending, and exports a clean PDF you can hand to your provider. BUILT FOR HOW THIS ACTUALLY FEELS • Calm, low-clutter screens, large targets, reduced-motion and high-contrast options — because brain fog and visual sensitivity are real. • Spoken cues so you're not reading while you move your head. • A first-class safety step for anyone with a history of falls, and a clear "see your provider" off-ramp for red-flag symptoms. WHAT IT IS NOT Steadwise is a companion for exercises you've already been given — not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and not a positioning maneuver (it does not do the Epley or other canalith-repositioning maneuvers; those are a different treatment for BPPV — talk to your provider about those). It works alongside care for vestibular migraine, PPPD, vestibular hypofunction, and similar. Everything stays on your device. If your exercises came from a vestibular PT and you've been winging the "how hard is too hard" part alone, this is for you.
