Updated?
Just bought my Uncharted and was disappointed to see such a low rated app to replace my previous 5 star rated Buick app. Not sure what all the issues are from or if there have been recent updates, but I’ve had no problems using the app. It is very responsive with the vehicle connects quickly and gives real time updates. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You can do better!
Really suboptimal app. Charge status is so slow to update. Digital key is only available on higher trims. Climate control setting doesn’t work. Awful product
Bring Back Quick Action Menu
The latest update removed the quick action menu. I used that every day to lock my car. Please bring that back.
Spotty charge history and notification barrage
Over the last few weeks, the app does not capture some of the charging sessions. It would be nice if the vehicle had that information logged in the infotainment system, but the spotty recording of the sessions is absolutely frustrating.
Even when I am sitting in the vehicle waiting for someone, the app pings me about things I already know about since I'm in the car.

OK, but missing features
The app works fine for simple tasks like unlocking doors. I wish the climate controls were better defined for remote starts. But the biggest improvement is that Subaru Connect needs to share live battery diagnostic data directly with Apple Maps so we can use the Maps EV Routing functionality.
Barely works
Passwords for not work. Resetting process also does not work. Forget about setting/resetting a password. The best I can tell is that there are about 3-5 passwords for this app. Whichever one you use it will be the other one. I did not even think this was possible. Very frustrating. Anyone rating this better than one star is being generous. The car integration software is a little better but not much better. Once you do figure out how to signin do not sign out. I found The best approach may be to use google option to sign in.

I’m stuck. In front of my house.
There is literally no Charge button. I’ve got 30%, I created a manual schedule for all 7 days and I’m in that charge window, and my car isn’t charging!!! Omg what is wrong with this app??? Eco charging assumes you are somehow available and plugged in at random hours, and the manual schedule isn’t working at all and loves to randomly delete schedules. Seriously, this is infuriating. Add a big CHARGE button to the app, how could this possibly have been missed in UX?

Does not allow 2+ owners access
Hopeless. If you have 2 + owners/drivers, only 1 person at a time can access the charging data and other features. Why? With an EV it is highly probable that more than 1 family member needs to know the charging status of the vehicle. Fix this please as it ruins the enjoyment of our new Subaru.

Mon appareil cellulaire possède 16 ISO et cette nouvelle version de Subaru Connect en demande 17 . Déplus on ne nous offre pas la possibilité de garder l’ancienne version. Résultat: je perds les avantages de cette application qu’on m’avait si bien vendue. Devrais je m’acheter un nouveau cell à $1000 pour pouvoir avoir accès de nouveaux à ces fonctions à distance?

Need more than 1 user to attach to a VIN
So we both use the car. Both are in charge of making sure it’s charged, etc. But only 1 of us is allowed to attach to the VIN and do anything with the app? Surely someone could have coded for the eventuality of more than 1 user per car. Surely.

This app needs to do a much better job at push notifications. Many times my car is not charging when plugged in and I need to know that. Why would they not tell me that the car is plugged in and not charging? Ridiculous!

Prenez exemple sur l’application Tesla sérieusement ! Tout est long et impossible de trouver des paramètres facilement.
Ça devrait être simple d’appuyer sur un bouton mais non il faut rester appuyer attendre 10 secondes que la commande s’envoie.
Il manque la fermeture des fenêtres à distance, démarrage sans clefs !

Do better
I have struggled with this app since March 2023 when I bought my Solterra. I am on my second Subaru EV and it’s still not working. Disappointing because my Uncharted is a great car!

Better than the ratings suggest
First - the app isn’t great, but it’s not as bad as some of the reviews make it seem. Also - some of the reviews are word for word duplicates. Makes me think disgruntled people who just like to complain.
Does it lag on the charging data? Yes - does it also refresh the data when you click the “refresh” button or drag down to refresh? Also yes.
The digital key works okay - but it definitely needs work. It’s not as instantaneous as some would like, but it’s also a neat feature.
Do I wish it was a true Subaru app? Yes. Their app is amazing.
But it’s better than the fob only remote start I had.

Worst ever / Pire que pire
Permet pas deux conducteurs, le téléphone débarque constamment, le fob et l’application fonctionne différemment pour climatiser l’habitacle, etc…
